I disagree completely, as a fellow human being I understand and support his decision...

He should just stop talking about it entirely. Anything he says will turn out to be bad at the end of the day. Unfortunately, I get the feeling he's going to keep talking about it instead of giving a copy/pasted generic answer.

No matter what there will always be people who resent his decision.

I respect his desire to make the decision, though I do think it represents taking the easiest way out that any star player ever has in NBA history. Its his choice of course, and nobody questions his right to make it, but that doesn't mean there can't be scrutiny of it.

With all that said, it does pretty much feel like a dead horse at this point. It is what it is. This quote really doesn't do anything to impact my view.

Kerr's got him constantly moving in the halfcourt offense..+ he's seems way more dedicated to the team style of play (increased rebounding-passing-screen setting)..I could see his numbers transitioning to something like 24-10-5 a game..

KD's game is really going to take off away from Westbrook and in the Warrior system..Can't wait for the season..

In 5 years when Durant has 3-4 FMVPs and people will be putting Durant in their top 5-10 all time, no one will remember any of this.

While i don't have a problem with Durant's decision or a player's desire to be surrounded by talent that can win, it's pretty clear that while some superstars want stars around them that will make it easier to carry the team to a title, Durant seems to want stars around him that will carry him to a title.

i think hes more upset about durants competitive nature than having fun playing basketball

This guy has come much closer to walking a mile in KD's shoes than any random internet poster.

It isn't just a question about where KD should play to entertain YOU, it's a question about how someone is going to live their life 24/7. None of the haters subject their life decisions to approval of the masses, and no other entertainer does either. No, you all are happy (or not) living your lives the way you think best yet you cast aspersions on someone else for making their own choices.

Plenty here are taking the easy way out and it isn't KD... as I've told all of my ex-wives, pointing out what is wrong with me is the easiest thing in the world to do, unfortunately it won't help YOU one bit. So, take a look in the mirror and apply your criticisms to a life you have some impact on...

As someone who was upset by the decision for showing a lack of competitive pride, the quote re-enforces that notion to me 10fold. Top 3 player in the league made a move for easier shots and wide open layups? That's almost more pathetic than admitting he did it to piggy-back a ring.
