They have the right to make the song about whoever they want. But how good is that song going to be, that's something else. In order to be successful, the song needs to be good or funny. This one is unfortunately a total crap.

Here is the example of successful song about someone famous - Sex, Drugs, Bodiroga (the GOAT player who never played in the NBA, skilled, smart and clutch as hell, won many titles)

I always loved this

Bodiroga is one of my favorites, was kinda a dick, but I liked him still, cause hes phenomenal. On same boat as Jasikevicius, they both were lovable jerks.

Off topic: Since I mentioned Blaza, if anybody is interested, he has several very funny and good songs and videos. At the beginning of Sex, Droga, Bodiroga you can hear Lepa si Pamela (Pamela (Anderson) you are beautiful), one of his 1st and most famous songs, and latter in this video you can see Blaza tearing Pamela's poster with his nose, another allusion for Lepa si Pamela. Really solid.

A german youtuber made a "Dirk Nowitzki appreciate song" around the second game in the 2011 finals. But that Jokic song is lightyears ahead
