Envision Miami LeBron's dominance during that tenure. Now put that physical form and minset "evil lebron" on this years squad. Would he beat the warriors?

2012-13 LeBron on the current Cavs is scary, and I'd say they'd beat the Warriors

Yes. Those Miami teams would be a poor matchup for these Warriors at several positions.

If the Mavs and Spurs beat that Heat team, so can the Warriors.

Neither team beat the team I'm assuming the thread is talking about (even though it sounded like he meant Miami LeBron on the current Cavs).
Even then, Spurs had Leonard, who was crucial in slowing down LeBron. Mavericks had Dirk, also one of a kind. Warriors are built a bit different than those.

The Lakers beat this Warriors team, so can the Lebron Heat.

Not in a series, like the Mavs and Spurs...

No need to put quotation marks over "evil LeBron' we all acknowledge his existence.

Kevin Love has been crap against the Warriors. So essentially it'll still take big games from evil LeBron and Kyrie to win a series against this GS team. GS just have better players throughout their roster, so it'd still be an uphill battle even for evil LeBron.

Absolutely the can and should.
The real question is who is better...2014 Spurs or 2017 Warriors?

I doubt it. The star power was great for the Heat there's no doubt, but i still feel like they should have been better. Unfortunately, there was too much overlap between Wade and Lebron. The Warriors are not only an historically great offensive team, but a very good defensive one. Their chemistry also seems to mesh much better.

I think the 2012-2013 Heat would be a great matchup against this W's
Can we stop saying "Lebron vs the Warriors".
Am I missing something? Is Lebron playing 1 v 5? Is this the 08 Cavs vs the W's? Last I checked, Kyrie, Love, and JR were putting up big numbers and playing a lot of minutes.

No in a series, like the Mavs and Spurs...
Well, these Warriors have yet to win a playoff series, so its not the best comparison.

This Warriors team has yet to win a playoff series, so comparing them to LeBron's Heat isn't a good comparison too by that logic.
The comparison is whether LeBron's Heat team could win against the current Warriors team. If his Heat team lost in a series to both the Mavs and Spurs (which they had), I think it is a fair comparison.

They also beat the Spurs and Thunder in a series... what's your point?
There plenty of reasons why the Heat wouldn't beat these Warriors, but I don't really know losing to the Mavs and Spurs is one of them.

My point is that this Warriors team is better than the Mavs team that beat LBJ's Heat team and maybe that Spurs team too, so it's not unreasonable to think they could beat that Heat team.

Not to mention their offensive systems are very similar, with the Warriors being better at it to top it off. With that, you add the fact that GS is still a top 3 team in defensive efficiency.

I think the 2 best teams of the last decade (from 2 different franchises) are the 2014 Spurs or 2017 Warriors. Who you got in that matchup?
