Knicks should just free up their cap space next year and not bother. I doubt they can leverage Rose into anything that useful long-term. If they can, more power to them. Rose to me is possibly the lowest basketball IQ point guard I have ever seen compared to his natural talent especially. I wouldn't take him for free frankly because I'd have to overpay to keep him.

They should just let his contract expire.
They are basically gonna get a bad contract back and for their troubles get a late first rounder or a second rounder

They are not getting anything better than that, roses trade value is very low and there are maybe 1 or 2 teams max that need a pg for a playoff push

I'd assume we'd have to clear out a PG somewhere, whether that's directly for Rose or in a separate trade I don't know.

Why the heck would they be interested in adding another one? Unless they want to trade away Kris Dunn (obviously not) adding Rose would create an even bigger headache.

The Wolves like the Kings are going to help a team by unloading Rubio. You know all the talk about NBA franchise expansion? They should look into reduction, cutting teams like the Wolves, the Kings, the Nuggets, the Nets... all they do is help other teams...

Rose is expiring. I wouldn't be surprised if they traded for him and bought him out. Getting out of Rubio's deal appears to be the goal here.
