Draymond Green, Rajon Rondo and this player share the record for fewest FGA while posting a triple double.

This player scored a last-minute bucket that gave his western conference team its first playoff series victory in over a decade; as is often the case in the NBA, that one highlight led to his being overpaid the following season by a different team-- one that signed him to a multi-year contract paying him 10-times-per-year what he made the previous year.

Jerome James?

No, but there IS a connection: the team who overpaid the player I'm thinking of is the same team James played for when he had his brief coming-out moment (which led to his getting overpaid as well, by the Knicks).

But not in the 2017 HOF class, right? Because interestingly, none of the 2017 HOF inductees who are being inducted as players ever won a ring.

Yes, indeed! His layup with less than 10 seconds left in G5 against Utah in their 2001 first-round series was Dallas' first series win since 1988, and it led to a multi-year deal worth more than $25m; not bad for a guy who'd made less than half-a-million the previous season.

I would have accepted Dirk as well as an answer (he was the other player who won it with him for the 1st time).

Possibly not super hard but...the player I'm thinking of has a slightly lower fg% than shaquille o'neil. However he has a slightly higher 2 pt %...who is he?

Definite bonus if you don't look up stats :P
