damian lillard has been on an absolute tear recently, he's been going bonkers.

Damian Lillard scores 49 points. The Blazers win in Miami. It's the first 4-1 road trip by the Blazers since November 2009 when Greg Oden and Brandon Roy were still healthy enough to play.

49 points by Lillard. 9-12 from three, and 12-12 from the FT line. What a performance. The Heat had no answer for him tonight.

Portland's a pretty clear favorite to get the 8th at this point. They're only one game back and have a much softer schedule.

Now that the Pelicans are playing well, Denver's remaining schedule looks brutal. They have to play them three times along with a bunch of other good teams. I wouldn't be shocked if NO catches them (but not Portland).

I absolutely hate that rule, hate that call, hate when Love tries it, but he's definitely the master at it.

The Cavs defense sucks.
