Steph when he hit that shot from 35+ feet against the thunder. I've never seen a game like that before! This dude was on fire.

Baron Davis steals Dirks soul, as Dr Evil, and sends him on a quest to regain his mojo.

GAMES 1, 4 GS title 1974, Rick Barry leads sweep of heavily favored Bullets. Predicted to be last in the conference, an unreal run by a gritty team. Game 1 comeback from 16 down. Game 4 stepping on the throat of a desperate and superior talented team (60 wins) with pure effort, nailing free throws at the Cow Palace (like a backup gym), bumped by Ice Capades. Crazy stuff.

Seen on a TV with a dial and like 5 channels. Barely old enough to understand, but i was playing at school and very inspired. That NBA in CBS song with animated outlines of players, including the logo, is still ringing in my head.

Klay's 37 in a quarter...perhaps the best heater of shooting to ever be witnessed, and highly unlikely to be repeated.

First ones that jump in my mind:

Jordan's 63 points in the playoffs, you kind of felt that you were seeing the ground floor of a legend in the making, which turned out to be true.

2002 WC Finals, Kings versus Lakers

College: The Laettner shot/UNLV undefeated team vs Duke Final Four

2011 Finals obviously for me being a Mavs fan, Game 6

LeBron Game 6 versus Celtics 30 point first half with all the pressure being down 3-2 on the road, same feeling as Jordan: seeing the start of a legendary player coming together, although glad it didn't happen yet in 2011

Very happy when you guys finally won it. I lived in dallas for the 3 J era, and as a rookie Jason Kidd lived in our neighborhood. We followed him at Cal and were amazed when we saw him dominate a preseason game, as a rookie.

Actually another memorable game was Sheryl Swoops scoring 50 at Reunion in the SWC semifinals.

Spurs played two triple OT games one after the other in December 2014.

there should be a thread with the best regular season games, so people can watch those.

Spurs/Heat Finals game 6 - i honestly thought that game was over but stayed up late because i wanted to watch the Spurs get the trophy. The comeback was kinda sureal, Leonard missing free throws and obviously that insane Ray Allen shot. I remember everyone was upset that Tim Duncan wasn't on the floor and Bosh was able to get the rebound. Crazy presence of mind from Bosh too, get the rebound and immediately pass it to Allen in the corner.

Mavs/Heat 2010 Finals game 2 - i hated the Heat so much and Dallas was my western conference team so this was incredible. Especially with Wade celebrating his three. Dallas never panicked and Dirk was unbelievable. Near the end of the game the Heat had so many chances to win, they got like 3 offensive rebounds and used almost the whole shot clock each time.

I think all knick fans remember this game when Melo was angry and clutch.

And off course the Hibbert block on Melo that sealed the deal. That blocked sucked the life out of the knicks. We were sort of close to the ECF

Anf off course H2O's game winner vs the heat in 99

Best game I can remember was 2013 Spurs vs Heat game 6 when you factor in the quality and pedigree of both teams on the court, not to mention the game was an all time classic and a legacy changer.

Can't believe nobody's mentioned 2001 Finals Philly/LAL Game 1.

If we're doing college as well I gotta throw the 2008 championship in there as well. Mario Chalmers won me $300

Games 5-7 of the 2016 Finals obviously.

Cavs-Warriors Games 2 and 3 2015 are up there, too. Thought we were toast and the heart the team showed against a much superior opponent was incredible. Delly!

Cavs-Pistons Game 5 2007.

Cavs-Celtics Game 6 2010.

Cavs-Heat LeReturn 2010.

Cavs-Knicks LeReturn to Cleveland 2014.

Cavs-Spurs 2015 Kyrie drops 57.

Heat-Spurs Game 6 2013.

Lakers-Jazz 2016 Kobe's last game.

I have a way easier time remembering Cavs games as you can tell.

1. 2014 NBA Finals Game 5. The team, the entire CITY had waited a year to get what we let slip away. It was awesome to watch it happen.
2. 2003 NBA Finals Game 6. I was there with my best friend to watch David Robinson's last game, the Spurs 2nd title and Duncan's near triple-double.
3. 1999 Game 2 WCSF Portland at San Antonio. The Memorial Day Miracle. I was in the building for the moment when the Spurs finally reversed all their bad luck and negative karma. After that game, there was no way we weren't winning the title.
These are the opinions of one lifelong Spurs fan, nothing more
