Who are the top 5 worst coaches in the league

These guys for the most part have trash young teams.

Meanwhile the Original Post gives you overrated non talented stenchworthy coaches who continue to fail with talent, or contribute nothing to coaching.

Lue knows nothing about basketball. He is a player coach. I heavily doubt Lue has any basketball smarts.

Not overrated but absolute worst.
You may be quick to discredit those who have won championships but those guys are going to get coaching offers before any of the coaches I listed.
When selecting between bad coaches I will rank those who have done something in the past higher than those who have not.

None of those guys would make my list. I've seen Clifford in the top 5 on many lists and I'm not sure what you want the other 3 to do with NDBL level talent.

Brett Brown did an amazing job winning 28 games with Saric being his only healthy starting quality player is a testament to his coaching abilities. He got that rag-tag squad to go on the road and give the Warriors all they could handle.

I think this year Vogel should be in the bottom 5. Or at least close.

I'm not saying Orlando should've been in the playoffs but the guy consistently would overplay bench players (same way he choked VS Toronto) who are on the quest to get to 40% shooting on the season, over guys playing much more consistent and better.

Maybe he was tanking maybe not. But this year solely a lot of us on the Magic board were surprised at how bad he was.

Lionell Hollins was a fantastic coach. Somehow he is not coaching.
