RealGM Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors Posters,

I am dropping in to address an ongoing problem and have posted a message about this on our Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors Forums.

Recently, some of our Users who post on our Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors Forums and are fans of those respective teams, have been trolling the opposing forum and this has also spilled on to The General NBA Board.

Now, most Users on both Forums and The General NBA Board obey the rules and do not cause problems.

However, I want to put a stop to this as Moderators from both Forums and our General NBA Board have told me it is a problem and I have handed out quite a few suspensions the past few weeks as a result.

I have decided that due to the volume of these occurrences, a temporary crackdown policy is needed.

I'll make this easy to understand.

The General NBA Board Moderators are going to be a little stricter and will not hesitate to hand out strikes if these two fan bases attack each other.

My hope is this will quell the situation on all of the involved forums.

Thanks to the majority of you for following the rules and my hope is that this temporary crackdown will put an end to the small percentage of Users who have been causing trouble.

Wow, now *this* is a rivalry. The teams are not even playing each other, yet fans are trolling each other.

I wonder if that's only because of the RealGM user community's demographics (e.g. lots of Raptor fans) or if on the streets of Toronto and Boston, fans are trashing the other team.

May need to do what the NFL did with the Raiders and 49ers and stopped them from playing in the preseason due to all the violence, going to need to move the Raps to the Western conference to reduce e-violence. God help us if we play in the playoffs.

I'm really curious how much a rivalry the teams themselves feel... Probably next to none

Wow, the Bulls have been spreadin' the seed. They're our fathers too.

i appreciate the Bulls taking out the Celtics and adopting them. Thanks dad. (I'm a raptor fan).

Basically:
Raps fans jealous of their 1 seed and top 4 pick so they troll
Celtics fans look to the future to get away from being down to the bulls so they troll

Why would Raps and Celtics fans troll each other? They're not even playing each other or having anything against the other.

should petition the NBA to force the raptors and celtics to only play each other for all 82 games tbh

well, at least its not gonna last long now that both of the teams are on the verge of being eliminated in a week.

As long as we aren't forced to watch... maybe put the games on some obscure Fox Sports regional channel no one gets.
