Sounds like implications of PED use.

What is crazy is how physically developed he was coming into the league at 18 or however old he was.

Usually rookies are expected to train and "become men" after they enter the league, because it's a man's game. But Lebron coming directly from high school was already a physically finished product for the NBA game.
