Steph Curry's gravity
Not a Warriors fan, but as a fan of the game, how can anybody not appreciate this?
I've never seen anything like it. On a team with a historically great player in Durant, along with Thompson, Green and Iguodala, their offense can still look like a trainwreck(relatively speaking) when Curry isn't on the floor.

Curry's stock took a big hit with KD joining. He went from 2-time MVP and champion to sidekick and afterthought. All the talk right now is KD.

Re: Steph Curry's gravity
Durant is the more versatile and talented scorer but Curry is a more impactful offensive player.

His gravity is partially negated by a lot of the boneheaded decisions he makes, like lazy dribbling and stupid passes trying t be flashy.
Did anyone notice how frustrated Livingston looked when Curry tried the behind the back pass on the fastbreak tonight?

It is true. Outclassed Curry, who was changing the perception of point guard led teams

Re: Steph Curry's gravity
I disliked Curry the last 2 years, but this year He gained some of my respect. He's still the backbone of the team. What he does on the court is what the warriors are built around, not KD.
KD is a luxury, Curry is the necessity for the DNA the warriors are constructed by.
He damn near averaged a triple double in the finals. 26/8/9/2 is respectable.

Re: Steph Curry's gravity
Curry's shooting is greatly feared by opponents which opens the floor for the Warrior's offense. He is also a good passer.
I still believe the Cavs play the best defense when they trap Curry and force him to give up the ball. Last year Harrison Barnes got the ball and went 5-32 from three. This year, Durant took full advantage and abused the Cavs. Still impressed Curry averaged a near triple double, but Durant's presence helped Curry too.

I kinda agree with this. I used to think some of his questionable decision making was a bad habit that he would kick, especially considering how it may have cost him a title last year. But he still does it and doesn't get too down when he makes a bad play.
In these big games, one of the things that you probably have to worry about as a GSW supporter is whether Curry will have his head on straight and not commit silly turnovers.

Re: Steph Curry's gravity
He is a complete offensive player who just completely changed his game from on ball to off ball in order to accommodating another ball dominant player. Who else in the league is able to do that without affecting much of the impact on the court?

No, it isn't. Maybe to you, but Steph Curry is still the teams core and leader. KD is a gun, but this is Stephs team as he has built it.

Basically no one, he is the perfect superstar fit for this GS team.

I agree with you, but I promise if you made a poll on this forum (who hates KD) asking who is the #1 on the Warriors, KD wins fairly easily. I think Curry is the most valuable player on the Warriors and 2nd most valuable player in the league, but his perception has fallen drastically. KD stole Curry's "Thunder"

I only have a handful of people blocked. Patches is one of them. This is showing why.

Who's perception are you talking about? If you're talking about fan perception, LOL, fans are idiots. If you're talking about people who actually know the game, then no, and a big fat no at that. Steph IS the Warriors. He is the system, he is the anomaly.

Who are you talking about exactly that thinks Curry is the system, besides you and I and maybe some Warriors fans? Analysts are all over KD right now. Fans think it's KD right now.
