What teams should tank next year?

I mean immediately start tanking.

Every Team except Golden State, The Spurs, and Cleveland truthfully

If hayward leaves (which he'll do)
Utah

teams in the basement of the West shouldn't be making any major moves if you catch my drift....
teams in the East? That playoff money/experience is quite tempting and up for grabs....hell it might be harder to tank actually. The end game might not be interesting but I could see the East playoff race (i.e who wants to be 4th place) being rather close.

I always wonder if people are serious when they say this. Im glad teams dont think the same way. 27 teams cant tank for a top 3 pick.

Teams that should tank.

1. Bulls
2. Mavs
3. Knicks (If they still have their pick next year, cant remember off the top of my head)
4. Magic (yet again, but new FO)
5. Clippers (but they are probably a playoff team still or 9 seed type at worst if healthy)

Every other team is trying to win it seems. Teams like the Suns, Kings, Lakers, etc naturally wont win many games, but they arent tanking on purpose. They are just too young to actually win now.

Maybe I'll clarify/rephrase. I am not in support of 27 teams intentionally losing but I more so mean in terms of rosters, 27 teams should really be building toward the future rather than sacrificing future to win now because unless you have at least 3 stars you don't have a chance in the world of competing with Golden State.

I don't think anyone will need to intentionally tank in the West - natural selection/survival of the fittest will determine the tankers by the all star break - do any teams not own their 2018 pick?

Not sure what will happen in the East - who owns versus doesn't own their 2018 pick?

To answer the question , I truly hope the Bulls sign some stopgap vets and lose a ton of games. Indiana and Brooklyn will be terrible in the East, too, but they've got more talenr than us, and could both sneak up to like 25or 30 wins. We can hope

Pacers will never tank. They may not be good, but they'll be trying to win every game they can.

We dont own our pick so theres really no point but at the same time i dont want any win now players on the roster
