Thinking of starting up an NBA predictions game for the new season

Post#1 » by NBAfan3024 » Sat Aug 5, 2017 9:56 pm

ideally want to know how much interest there is first but the idea would be

for each game you would predict the score and the top scorer for the game

the points system would be

10 points for correct winning team
20 for correct top scorer
50 points for the correct score

for example

saturday 11th November

Golden State Warriors 110-101 LA Clippers- TS- Durant

I would do this for each day and update the standings each morning.

I would obviously need the mods to sticky a thread titled predictions game standings and I would update the standings in that thread. I would reply in that topic when the standings have been updated

This would be alot of work given it's an 82 game season So I would need there to be a good amount of interest.

Cool idea, but it may be a bit too much for you to handle. Maybe just select 3-5 games per night instead of the whole schedule to make it easier on yourself and others.

Sounds like fun though.

It certainly would be alot of work when there are like 15 games on one night. Could maybe choose top 3 games of the night but then it's always going to be up to debate which are the best games of the night

I'd be interested in playing but you might get my responses closer to the start of the season.
