Do teams have access to this info on players from other teams? I would think the only info they have on a player's health is what the opposing team gives them...hence the very common practice of including a physical of their own in the conditions of the trade.

They have a new scan from the 25th that provides more accurate information than anything that was available prior.
Sure, but accusing Celtics of withholding information is weird, i'm sure Cavs looked thoroughly into all the medical data available before agreeing to a trade. And I'm just as sure danny knew they'd do additional tests and scans at the physical.
I don't think they are accusing the Celtics of withholding information, they probably are eventually asking for additional compensation to account for the new information.
If they take the trade as is, they get back less than they expected. If they reject the trade, the Celtics get back less than they thought they sent out. Accepting or rejecting the trade isn't going to change the MRI results from Friday. Both sides should be motivated to make an adjustment to the trade to take that into account.

Wednesday. Hopefully the Cavs aren't sitting on their hands and are communicating with Boston if they aren't doing it as is because that's what it looks like.

no, it's 10 AM Thursday. From NBA.com
The deadline for all players involved in the trade to pass physicals is on Thursday, but it can be extended with mutual agreement by both teams, according to Wojnarowski.

Let's get this deal done already! I wonder if Cle could make it a 3 way and flip IT and a pick to the Suns for Bledsoe?

Is there a time limit that this trade has to be accepted or voided?

The more I think about it I bet Ainge is having deja vu from Rondo. Attempted to have him come back after that ACL surgery to evaluate him and see if he ups his value.
Ainge probably doesn't want to take a chance that IT won't be 100% ever again and his trade value once the season starts or whenever he comes back will be much lower.

Cavs might not, but that's a hot topic here.
And jbk1234, i really don't know what you're talking about. You seem to think it's weird that Danny didn't ask them to void the physical? Maybe i just don't understand.
i really don't care whether this trade goes through or not, but thought it was an overpay at the time. The package with injured IT is still better then that Bucks package and could be much better if that pick gets really high.

I don't know why there's so much discussion regarding the subject. Simply put, the cavs thought they where getting Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and the Brooklyn pick. Instead, they're getting Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, the Brooklyn pick and a 7m expiring contract. Seems to me like Ainge tried to fleece his way into a star, like he does in all his trades. Bummer.

No idea really, but seems logical they do.
Would you agree to trade for an injured guy before seeing the documentation?

Well, that would be kind of awkward.

Celtics got the best player in the trade, 2nd best player in the trade is now worth less than thought. The amount less is unknown.
And I don't know why jbk1234 keeps bringing it up either, there's no way the Cavs would have done a trade without being allowed to do their own physical. I can't think of any time that's even happened (aside from possibly a case where the traded player was going to be waived).

Ainge added the Brooklyn pick as compensation for IT being hurt. Cavs agreed. Now Cavs are having 2nd thoughts.
Cavs need to put their big boy pants on and either accept or decline the trade as it is presently.
