If Isaiah Thomas makes a clean recovery, then it is clearly the Cavs. Lebron is better than anyone else on any other team, if he has some help he will beat the other teams in a series.

OKC.

Westbrook might be the best player in the world on a match-to-match basis right now. He's at full flow every night, which will come in handy in the RS.
One of the league's best 2-way wings in George.
An all-time scorer like Melo as the third option.
A legit defensive anchor in Adams, who can also defend the pick and roll.

This has all the makings of an elite team on both ends of the floor. They have decent depth as well. This team's one weakness is Roberson, who is unplayable in close games and a general non factor on offense.

I don't see any downgrades. Them playing small more will make them arguably better than last season.

Spurs. I'm not betting against Pop and Kawhi to slide this season.

I say either hou or OKC. My biased opinion is Houstons depth will keep them above okc.
Starters
Cp3
Harden
Ariza
Ryno
Capela

Bench
Ego, pj Tucker, mbah a moute, nene, tarik black.
Bench has everything. Scoring, playmaking, defense, ability to switch. Add in that one of cp3 or harden will be on the floor at all times? Houstons depth is insane to me

If GSW were a 10.

Cavs are an 8 (in the playoffs) a 7 in the RS.

Everyone else is 7.5 or below.

Cleveland still has LeBron and plenty of guns surrounding him.

Jury still out on everyone else.

Gimme Boston. I think I think okc is being way overrated and I'm starting to doubt IT even plays this season

despite your best attempts, 'bias' is not an adjective. you want 'biased'.

Clearly OKC .
They have 3 truly explosive scorers. Westbrook is playing on an all time level right now.

I would say PG13 is at his peak. These guys both are great defenders.

Strong defenders in Roberson & Adams a true defensive anchor.

I can definitely see Olympic Melo in this situation. He's likely to be up against PF defenders again which he eats up already ; But now for the very first time with true help. Hoodie Melo has been training all off season knowing he's going to a contender. It's about to get serious.

This.

Many on here have to be completely delusional to rank cavs or even rockets (LMAO!) over the OKC...

I think Minnesota and OKC are the biggest threats to GSW. Minnesota in particular is getting underrated imo. Towns/Butler/Wiggins is a very good core to work with, their main concerns being defense and Wiggins' volume shooting. OKC is the one team in the league where their top 3 and role players are enough talent wise and defensively to make GSW at least work.

I've got the west in a playoff series as:

1. GSW

2. OKC
3. MIN

4. HOU
5. SAS

Warriors, Rockets, Spurs, Thunder, Celtics, Cavs (depending on IT's condition, of course)

On paper...Warriors, Thunder, Rockets, Celtics, Cavs, Spurs

In terms of success and chemistry....Warriors, Cavs, Spurs, Celtics, Thunder, Rockets (Yes, my bias came into play on the last three, but all are interchangeable with essentially a new roster for Boston, a new big three in OKC and HOU bringing in Paul).

Five of these six teams either overhauled their roster or gained/loss one of their top two players so the chemistry factor and working together will take time for the teams to be clicking on all cylinders. All six are going to be very good. We don't know how long it'll take OKC and Boston for example to start gelling.

But holy **** man, can we say that the NBA is the most entertaining professional league out there? Non-stop surprises and big moves taking place. Don't think there was a week where a rumor about a star being traded wasn't being thrown out there.

wow Minny is getting really overrated :o Their defense is years removed from a definitive fixing and offensively they're not going to be the cavs..so. I see them, best case,5th in the west

I see them at worst 5th best in the west, which would still almost assuredly be a top 2 team in the leastern conference. How many teams can trot out KAT/Butler/Wiggins/Teague/Gibson/Crawford/Dieng besides GSW/Spurs/HOU/OKC/CLE? Perhaps BOS but that's about it.
