Predict Westbrook's stats/season next year

Post#1 » by righterwriter » Sun Sep 24, 2017 4:15 am

Now that Westbrook is flanked by two very capable scorers-- who happen to be pretty decent rebounders as well-- how do you think it will affect Westbrook's stats and his overall game next season?

Do you think he turns into a PG that moves the ball around to find the best shots for his teammates, or does he still hold onto MVP Westbrook's tendencies of having the team work around him, box out so he can get rebounds, and such?

How do you think he'll adjust and do you think it will be a season that shines favorably on Russ or one that points out his flaws?

I expect he'll return to KD-Ibaka levels. Somewhere around 28/7/9 on .540 TS

PG: 21/6/2 on .560 TS

Melo: 19/6/2 on .535 TS

25/8r/12a...;)

Westbrook's hard work last year certainly has paid off - he has two new all star teammates now that he probably wouldn't have had he not had that crazy year last year.

25/7/9

He should have more left in the tank to play average defense with those 2 scoring options. No reason for him left to try to average a triple double.

24/8/9/4.5

Turnovers should always be added into a stat line of a guy like this to show true value.

Haha, but both Carmelo and George are ~3 turnover a game players, so team turnover volume will actually increase, it's just going to be spread out amongst 3 players.

no matter how you shake it, westy will have less ball time and he will try to dispell all the criticism he has endured basically his whole nba life. he is the most ever evolving player i've ever seen, so the stat that will drop the most is his ppg,,,just to prove he can do things no one expects from him

24ppg
10apg...because this is a wash. better players to finish but pg and ca will do their 1on1 thing
9rpg...just too much hard work to maintain double figures
3to...his to's have correlated with the amount of burden he assumed. a career 3to player who's number bumped in the last 3yrs when it was just him and durant. it all depends on how much he takes on by himself
