What’s Westbrook’s FG% against GSW?

And which team does Westbrook commit the most turnovers against?

Over the past three seasons (so, since the Warriors became great), Westbrook's stats vs. Golden State:

76-225 shooting: 33.7 FG%
ORTG: 100
99 AST / 55 TOV

The proof is in the pudding. For whatever reason, Russ hasn't done well offensively vs. the Dubs.

He has had struggles and part of it is that he puts his head down trying to get to the rim, but I've also seen refs allow us a lot of contact against Russ when he should be getting calls. Still he has had some struggles in the half court. He also gets trigger happy with the 3 ball to try to stop the bleeding if we go on a run and hit 3s.

Klay is an elite defender, and also Westbrook just knows one speed so there's that.

I love Westbrook’s aggressive style of play because it benefits the Warriors a lot.

More turnovers and missed shots which fuel and fuel and fuel the Warriors offense.

Warriors were in a transition year last season so I can’t wait to see them play against Westbrook this upcoming season.

Also, hopefully this makes Westbrook more motivated so he can “lick his chops” and shoot more and attack more.

All this talk about Westbrook. Check some of the other top PGs against GSW.

Take a look at Wall, Lowry, Irving, Kemba, and Isaiah Thomas. They were all just as bad if not worse. They play serious D in Golden State.

Lillard, Paul and Conley did pretty well against them though. Actually, tore them up.

That's Westbrook's gift and his curse. He can absolutely light it up when he knows we need a run, but he can also chuck a lot of bad shots up. Hopefully, that doesn't happen this year. We have too many good shooters for that to be a problem. Somehow, I still see it happening.

There's value in the ability to play at different paces, and that's not necessarily Westbrook's greatest strength, but Westbrook's style of play is part of what makes him who he is, and it works against most of the league. Thunder will need to figure out some way to get him to be more effective when they are playing the Warriors, I don't have any suggestions persay, but it's not my job.

As a Warriors fan, my complaint with the coaching is they play Zaza way too much.

As much as I criticize Westbrook’s inefficient style, if I were him I’d keep attacking Zaza, too.

Zaza is a guy who players don’t fear, yet Kerr loves to play him so much. Luckily guys like Draymond and KD and Klay help make up for Zaza’s deficiencies, but the Warriors would be a lot more scary if they started JaVale McGee.

McGee averages as much as Zaza and shoots 10% better in only half the minutes. Also, he’s a beast when he’s alongside Draymond because of Draymond’s passing ability to get him open looks.

When it’s Zaza with Draymond, he’ll drop those passes or have a hard time with easy layups.

So as good as the Warriors defense is, they’re holding back a bit with their love for Zaza, but hey I’m not an NBA coach so I have no right to complain.
