Best PG in the East this year?
Don't look now but Kemba Walker has emerged as the best PG in the Eastern Conference to start the season. Will he continue to lead this group for the remainder of the year? I think he actually may, as long as his knees don't trouble him too much again.
Kyrie appears to be feeling the Lebron hangover, John Wall is slumping, Kyle Lowry has fallen off a cliff, and IT is injured and may not return to his old form...

I mean its been 6 games. Wall historically starts off every year slow.

No doubt it is John Wall. He's playing better than everyone else (PGs) on the East.

I was thinking Kemba so far.
Gotta keep an eye on Wall, Kyrie, and IT though

With the exception of Wall (maybe Lowry), everyone on the list is a score first point guard. It's an era of score first point guards so I am not saying it's a bad thing. If you want a score first point guard who has the clutch gene, is big in the biggest games and is damn near impossible to guard then you'd have to go with Kyrie. He's like the bizarro Kyle Lowry.

Your opinion doesn't count, Poops.

not all the games are determined by a buzzer beater.

Kemba is pretty clearly outplaying Wall thus far. That's not to say Wall isn't capable of turning his season around rather quickly, but he's sporting the lowest TS% (48.3!) of his career right now. Defensively, Wall has fallen off far enough that he needs to be good on the offensive end to be the best.

Wall has been great defensively this season. He has the best defensive numbers on the team.
And up to 51 TS% after tonight, his shooting was definitely off but he will get on track soon as he finds his rhythm.

It's clearly John Wall. He deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as guys like Westbrook, Curry or Harden.

I'll still take him in that situation and in big games.

Wall has stepped up this season. I have him at number one. Kemba would be my number two.

Re: Best PG in the East this year?
Wall is having his worst shooting season yet... And his biggest issue has always been shooting. Meanwhile Kemba is going off on teams...
I have no issue with people voting for Wall. His track record implies that he'll start playing much better soon. But Kemba is crushing him to start the year. It's pretty insane how good/bad they are with him on/off the court.

We're not even 10% through the season yet....not even TEN PERCENT. Not sure how you're harping on this shooting thing.
