Just this year alone, the racism from their fans has been a huge talking point in MLB and echoed across leagues. I can't imagine an outspoken Black man with LeBron's off-court goals joining the Celtics, it would go against everything he stands for.

Funny you're a Spurs fan, it's a given that Texas is more racist than Boston.

He said sports city, not city or state. I don't know about SA, but there are a lot of diverse and open places in Texas, I'm told. Like Houston.

I've heard great things about Austin. I don't think its too far from SA

Even if he did that and won like 5 easy rings, it'd tarnish his legacy more than improve it. Much like KD, his legacy has been tarnished by the decision he made despite winning a ring.

nah.. if he scores near 40000pts topping kareem, more than 51% will say that he's the goat. thats for sure

How would the NBA fans react?

The fans would react just like they reacted when KD figured out that he can't beat the Warriors and decided to join them.

The difference between LeBron and KD, though, is that LeBron already beat the Warriors. So this is a non-issue for James.

Yes, for those who have forgotten, LeBron James beat the record setting 73-win Warriors in the NBA Finals. That alone is equal to at least two MJ titles, in my estimation. Maybe three.

Warriors are definitely no go. Lebron and Warriors players genuinely dislike each other. Celtics are a no go too. I think it's safe to say Kyrie doesn't want him there. That leaves the Rockets and Spurs.

The Rockets are intriguing because they're a great 3-point shooting team so they can really make use of Lebron's ability to collapse the defense. and with CP3 and Harden there, Lebron can finally stop yapping about the "lack of play makers" on his team.

The Spurs though are just as attractive. Lebron and Kawhi? They will wreck teams defensively with their ability to switch to anyone.

The salary cap is socialist... no doubt about that. I don't see the owners limiting how much they can charge for tickets, parking, broadcast rights, etc....

Meanwhile most clamor for "free market" in their main lines of business and tax breaks for investment....

It doesn't help that they demand concessions and tax breaks for stadium renovations....

Even the staunchest libertarian or socialist can recognize that NBA owners have zero credibility when it comes to integrity

Only an idiot would be of the notion that the NBA is a free market. It's a monopoly, plain and simple. No one has ever denied this. Players, like all other league personnel, are employees. If they don't like the rules, they're free to leave. No one forced them to go into such a fragile occupation. And no one feels sorry for them either.

They realize that. That's why they're able to negotiate for a great CBA (the players know that the league wouldn't exist without them, and that the franchise are essentially marketing the players rather than the team as the product; In other words, they're keenly aware that they are what gives a franchise its value.).

He would make all of'em scrubs within two years and people would say he needs more help. Kerr would resign from coaching permanently, his back problems becoming untreatable from all the bumping. But his stats would look great

Really depends. If winning is the most important thing he goes to the Warriors and has the best chance to add championships.

Warriors are about winning and if LeBron changes his game they would fit nicely.

No way he is going Boston or GSW.

Dont see him taking a paycut to play in a team like Houston or SA.

Maybe even with a bad season he stays if Cleveland make a good FA move and trade that draft pick. Would be the Goat if he stays and wins again
