Why is everyone disrespecting the Cavs?

The cavs already showed for the last 3 seasons that they dont give a **** about the RS.

They’re still the 2nd best team in the league. Sure that depends on IT Health, but so every team in the league depends on their stars condition.

They are a historical elite offensive team and ppl should treat them like they deserve.

Because they are the oldest team in the league and they are playing horrible. Signs are pointing to the Cavs fall. It is bound to happen and it could be unfolding before our eyes.

This oldest argument is overrated.

Love is 29. Crowder 27. TT 26. IT 28. Jr is 32.

Korver is old but he’s a shooter. Wade is old but is on the vet min and is playing well.

Spurs team is older and nobody says anything.

Nobody cares about 2nd best, thats why.

Boston is the new rage, Cavs time has come to an end, they are a washed up, past their prime team that is not even fun to watch.

If you

A) Old and Slow
B) Not fun to watch
C) Dont care during the regular season
D) Disrespect the integrity of the game by giving no effort in games people pay to watch

then

E) People will disrespect you.

Besides, they just lost in the finals in 5 games, losers dont get respect until they earn it back.

..and they are a historically bad defensive team.

They are scraping every night to get wins and putting tons of minutes on guys legs.

They are an older team that is terrible on defense and is trying to make a 4th Finals run in a row. That usually doesn't end well.

Do you honestly think our roster around LeBron is good? Jeff Green and Kyle Korver have been our 3rd and 4th best players behind LeBron and Love. It's ridiculous the mental gymnastics people like you go through to make it seem like this is some super team.

There's a reason Green (who's barely looked like an NBA player in his career) has effectively taken his role and been much more successful in it.

And I'm talking this current roster without IT and TT at the moment, and how it's performed. Also JR has been garbage. He's really fallen off.

We've been riding on LeBron and Love's offense, along with decent bench play from Korver, Wade, and Green as of late. The rest of the roster has been horrible.

Crowder just shot 40% from 3 last season, how is he a bad player? Did he forget how to play?

A good bit of it has been deserved but I think people are putting way too much stock into these games.

Anyone remember when the Cavs started 19-20 in '14-'15? Then embarrassed the 50 win Bulls and 60 win Hawks despite Kyrie being hobbled and Love being hurt?

Idk, maybes its just me, but I don't think you know if this Cavs team is truly good or not till 5-6 games into the playoffs. Assuming injury recoveries go smoothly, there isn't really anything to be worried about.

They aren’t even full strength. Wait till IT gets back in a month and Rose is in full form. Rose and Wade will be a good 1-2 punch off the bench with Korver.

I do want to see them give some minutes to Zizic to see what he can do.

At this point, the finals will be Cavs vs Warriors.

Celtics may challenge the Cavs, but there’s no stopping Lebron in the playoffs. You have to outscore them while slowing them down. Seems only the Warriors can do that.

But still, I would not be surprised at all if the Celtics knock out the Cavs in WCF. I just think it’s unlikely because Lebron is still a force when he chooses to be.
