Shooting better than Fultz, Jackson, Fox, Isaac, Frank N, DSJ, Monk.

Less than 2% worse than Mitchell and Markannen.

Worst shooter ever though

His real problem right now is his complete lack of ability to finish at the rim.

Since I avoid the Lakers games like a plague cause they have been terrible for so long all I know is he bricked a shot behind the back board really bad and airballed a three before that. Me personally I have never done that and he should rework whatever is wrong with his shot. Its terrible.

I think that's gonna have to be in the offseason, we're stuck with this Lonzo for now

He's gotta fix his format the ft line.

He should spend the summer shooting ft's normal style because 1- his current style is doing him squat, and 2 - by practicing a normal shooting form for his ft's he may be able to solve his midrange game.

It's worth a shot because walton is playing him like Jordan and Howard was being used at end of games

I think I’d be worried about the shot but I’d be more worried about him learning how to finish at the rim.

He was shooting well in college cause defenses are different there. NBA is a lot quicker, more competitive than college.

His shot is really slow and comes from his freaking waist. They need to change it for sure. Lakers fans can kid themselves as much as they want to. You AREN'T gonna be a generational player with this type of shot. Matrix and Kevin Martin had weird looking shots, but Martin's release was much better, purer. Matrix didn't have to shoot all that much as he was a PF and a pretty good athlete in his prime.
Good assessment:

I'm sure you realize that shooters are not only judged by their 3P%. Lonzo's midrange game is virtually non-existent because he can't pull up and score even semi-efficiently in that area. He's also 47% on FTs this year, and while this number would probably go up if he got to the line more consistently but it still wouldn't be any good.

I still like Ball as a prospect, albeit not as a potential star. He has the potential to change the culture of a team, his impact from passing is additive and his defense has been a nice surprise this year. But let's not pretend as if shooting isn't a big concern with him; it's not only about his ability to shoot 3's.

Given all the 1-7 and 2-8 showings and the rare decent % it’s clear you will never be consistently accurate without shooting with a straight elbow.

It’s not rocket science.

It he wants to stay with that broken ass 3 point shot for whatever reason (idiot dad, idiot coaching staff) maybe he should try shooting FTs underhanded?

Lonzo just went on a hot streak before, nothing else. He's still a god awful shooter.

That shot if the defender didn't get a piece of it may be his worst miss yet. Ugly night for airball

Some Laker fans will back up their guy, but I fully agree. Looks like he had a period of being on a hot streak to me. It's funny that Fultz is the one that supposedly changed his shot when Ball is the one that nobody would complain if he did.

I like to compare Lonzo to Rondo more than anything, they can do anything very well except shoot.

Another awful shooting performance from him after being assured by Laker fans that the tiny sample size where he shot okay meant he could really shoot.

I drafted him in the 3rd (14 team league) and he’s returning 1st round value post ASB. I’ll be keeping him next year. Nobody fills the stat sheet like Zo.

I picked him up in the waivers but will be dropping him soon...singe handedly ruining my FG% all by himself and he doesn’t offer enough of other cats to keep him around (idc about assists).

Which is it? Does his shot need to be changed or is it fine as it is?
