Real GM Meetup?

Has anyone ever organized a meetup at a bar or restaurant or something? Could you imagine everyone flying in to one central location (AZ?) and chatting just about the NBA? It would be pretty neat...

We don't actually exist in real life, we're just BasketballReference scrape bots running on Chinese servers.

There is a Pacers board that has a few meetups every year. Probably be easier to get fans from the teams city to meet up.

I'm not sure another Pacers fan exists in North Carolina...

I'd prefer a national meetup...which is why I posted on this board. I'm not interested in a local team meetup. My GF works for a boutique hotel chain in Scottsdale and i could arrange group discounts

Everyone put their RealGM username on a tag on their chest so I know who to avoid else we throw hands.

I don't think the cost of access would be that bad. Figure a flight for $300, hotel for $300 + meals, recreation.

We could feasibly rent out an entire bar and just watch games and talk basketball. We could broadcast the event live on YouTube. I bet we'd get a lot of views.

I like Martin. He is extremely consistent, and we both share the hatred on Doc Rivers as a coach. We also think Chris Paul is overrated.

I don't mind that he thinks having Durant is unfair to the league. That's his prerogative, and many would agree with him.

The weather is beautiful here in the fall / winter / spring and I have a hookup for discount hotel rooms at one of the best hotels in Scottsdale. Airfare is very affordable also into PHX.

I dont think that would end well. There are alot of people that would end up scrapping. Better if fans of the teams organized it and met up. That way you dont have to spend thousands travelling.
