Yeah, I said it come at me with all you got. Rockets have the best record in league. Now you can see what harden can do with a top 10 player on his team in his prime. Move over everyone else. Harden and the Rockets time is now. Fear the beard.

in the regular season 2017-18 until 12, December it MAYBE be top2 with Lebron, but as a basketball player? no way, I'm taking Lebron, Kawhi, Durant, Giannis and Curry before thinking about Harden

Harden should be given the opportunity to prove that he is. If he can consistently beat the Warriors, the Cavs, the Spurs and the Celtics throughout the season then I will not outright deny him. For the label to stick though he needs to win a championship. He is up against formidable competition. For comparison Curry led his team to a championship and a 73-9 record yet he is still doubted.

Great player and future HOFer no doubt. But he’s playing in a very Harden-friendly offense and is still a mostly a disinterested defender.

I could see an argument for best offensive player, he’s leading the league in quite a few different advanced stats, but I would stop short of calling him the best player.

in my eyes the most intriguing offensive player. Dude is truly amazing, but yea I fully expect either ginobili or pau gasol to lock him down with their elite perimeter defense

I don't think he's better than LeBron but it might be time to start seriously thinking of Harden as a top 2 or 3 player. He's been the best player so far this year.

I'm with you. LeBron has pretty much safe guarded his tier (alone at 1) until his decline becomes detrimental. But I think you could argue that Harden is as good as anyone else.

durant never put a team on his back like harden (prior to getting cp3).. harden has made noise with some very poor supporting casts (up until recently).. something only superstars can do (lebron.. cp3 in NO/LAC/etc)

curry while great, became great at a time where he had a very nice cast.. could he do it with less like harden has? IDK, different games.. kerr obviously changed currys role from what Jackson had him doing (on vs off the ball)

kawhi is nice, but he has pop and always a decent cast

If there was a true fantasy draft (for 1 year, disregarding age/potential/futures), harden would absolutely go top 3.. i'd have a hard time not taking him 2nd after lebron
