The Suns improve, the Warriors get worse. Klay is a better player.

I think Suns would improve but Warriors get worse. Klay is a very good defender and has legit size to guard 1-3 and some 4’s. He is also a better shooter than Booker.

Bottom line Klay is perfect offball Guard for Curry. He’s the ultimate 3 and D player.

Booker is a great scorer can handle the ball some, but is not as efficient of a scorer compared to Klay and a poor defender by all metrics.

Klay knows how to defend, Booker does not. Easy win for Suns here.

Having said that.. I can't wait to see Klay become a #1 option somewhere, simply because I doubt he can be the #1 banana on a team.

I'd say that he's good on-ball defender, but when it comes to team defense, he's average at best.

I agree that Booker is better at creating shots for himself and others, but that's not what Warriors need. They need someone who's going to play mostly off-ball, and Klay is perfect for that.

To answer the threads question, no.

Klay is a much better shooter than Booker. And that is irreplaceable for that current roster. Also, look at what Barnes is average once leaving GS. He is averaging close to 20 a game, but they are meaningless stats.

Warriors would be just as good. It's all about Curry and Durant.

For the Suns, it would be debatable. Hard to tell how Klay would fare as the primary option with the opponents focusing on him.
