The only starter that wasn't playing was Gasol though.

So pathetic. I wish they fall out of top 3 pick.

He's more patient with teams that have made the playoffs like 10 straight years

what does that say for the bulls who were warned most recently?

of course the bulls' offense is much more egregious than what the grizzlies are doing. grizz best players are actually injured. bulls simply sit their best, healthy players because they want to lose games.

Bulls shut down their promising lottery rookie for the second half of the season in order to get 7th spot surpassing nets instead of 8th spot. What a stupid organisation.

Conley, Parsons, werent worth close to what they paid.
Gasol in his prime was but he's been hurt, is now likely over the hill and just got a good coach fired for benching him in a tanking season.

They should have dealt Conley a couple of years ago. They should have dealt Gasol at the deadline this year.

I wouldn’t say we accomplished nothing of note. Beating a 61-win 1st seeded Spurs team? Getting to the WCFs? We’ve beaten or close to beaten some great teams in the West that would’ve been considered contenders. And I’m pretty confident had we been in the East that we’d be a perennial 55-to-60-win team. Doing all this in the deep west with a bunch of rejects, spareparts and headcases like ZBo and Tony Allen. Doing this in a market nobody cares to even look at as a destination.

Parsons in hindsight was a bad gamble, but had he been healthy, he was exactly what we needed. Athletic wing with the shooting and playmaking to bolster what has been a stagnant offense.

Makes no sense why people are calling Grizz heads to be chopped. If anything, we’ve been a model small-market NBA team this decade. It’s not like we set off to tank like Philly with their #trusttheprocess crap. We didn’t even initially try to tank this season.

You got to one west final where no one gave you a chance. You bowed out accordingly. Perennial 55-60 win team? For what? 4-5 years. Nothing to show for it except a bridesmaids medal in the West Final and a DPOTY for Gasol.

When all is said an done and this era is talked about the Grit + GRind era will be an asterisk and nothing more.

Philly has 2 superstars that are already bigger draws than all of the Memphis players you named combined. In a combined ~130 games.

Memphis is pathetic. I blame coach-killer Marc Gasol.

The tank is strong. It’s not easy to lose by 61 to an EC non-playoff team.

It was a sweep, the Spurs were way better that season and took 7 games for Miami to beat them in the playoffs. But the games were very close, it was down to a couple or so possessions. Sure you guys have a couple of great players, but that’s because you guys tanked on purpose for years. Not to mention Philly is a big market. Grizzlies were losing for a couple of seasons before we started winning games. We could have continued the tank but Memphis would have lost their team in the process.

So we’re foolish for trying to win with a “crap” lineup and now we’re being crucified because we’re supposedly tanking? Makes no sense.

Yes, it's Marc Gasol's fault he didn't play and Conley, Harisson and Parsons were all out hurt. It's also his fault their roster blows.

Bulls missed the playoffs as recently as two years ago.
