Tony Parker calls out Kawhi
Pop is behind this. The way he's dealing with this is honestly very shady. He's sending out his soldiers Tony and Manu to do the dirty work. They're putting out all this public pressure on Kawhi.
Wack. Pop is a snake.

Pop has been exposed. He wasn't the one that sustained this operation, it was Duncan, on and off the court. These morons are really trying to run Leonard out of SA.

TP was the one who took the lead in the players only meeting too so this isn't surprising

Kawhi is getting paid $20 million this year. He is cleared by SA’s team doctors to play. He refuses to play. Leonard is the snake here, not Pop.

I don't think so. Him saying, "mine was a 100x worse" is definitely a shot.

What's the worst case scenario for the spurs? Kawhi wants to leave and they trade him for someone like Kyrie or lakers players etc. It can't get any worse than it currently is with them essentially missing a starter.
Of course the spurs players know more than anyone on this board, but they all understand than opportunities to go deep into the playoffs are rare, the spurs are actually healthy and that opportunity is possibly being squandered by kawhi, who seems like he just doesn't want to play.
When players are injured they usually clearly come out and say whats up, but Kawhi hasn't said anything...
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Once again
His own doctors haven’t cleared him

Pop sent him. I have no doubt about that. He's been playing media games all season. Since when do leaks come out about the Spurs every damn day? The most tight lipped team in the nba?

Though I agree, imo at the end of the day he actually did Brent a favor. She was probably cheating on him with other dudes anyway / would have cheated sooner or later so TP just exposed her

So you're insinuating that the Spurs doctors are incorrect in their assessment of Leonard's injury? That even though he's been cleared for weeks they're wrong?
To me, Leonard's camp doesn't want him to come back and play bad as it would negatively affect his next contract, so they probably put pressure on his own doctors not to clear him until he's 110%.
Otherwise, I can't see why the Spurs team doctors - pretty famous around the league for being extra cautionary with Duncan, would clear him.

Well they also usually dont have these kinds of issues, so who knows? But this is a direct quote from Parker, and it could just as easily be the vets (who have limited NBA time left) pushing for Kawhi to play so they can make a legit playoff run.

Pop has led a bunch of geriatrics and role players to a 42-30 record. I think he's doing an okay job.
