I noticed those three are rarely hosting NBA on TNT this season and it’s lessening the quality of the pregame/postgame show. I thought the whole Players Only crap was supppose to be only for a couple times. Did I miss something?

They are covering March Madness.

This may be a bit much, but things went downhill when Shaq came on. I think that ruined the dynamic. I say this as Shaq's biggest fan. He's better in small doses.

NCAA coverage and yes Inside The NBA totally sucks without them. And don't get me started on that crappy Players Only stuff.

They were best when it was Ernie, Chuck and Kenny. Shaq killed their chemistry with his pettiness and being defensive all the time.

C-Webb in place of Shaq and I'm good again with the cast.

KG is awkward on TV. I personally dont mind Shaq on the show, but Jalen Rose on that cast would be gold...too bad he's taken by ESPN.

He's already bad enough as it is on Area 21, the last thing TNT needs is an expanded role for his boring personality.

He is bad on area 21 because they have him putting on this act that is forced when he talks normal about the details of basketball hes really good.

No KG, No Greg Anthony. They are both awkward and terrible on TV.

C Webb is better off in studio than a color commentator.

TNT can really use another calm voice like Chris Bosh, much better than Shaq who is half of the time insecure and the rest of the time redundantly goofing around with Chuck and Kenny.

I love Shaq, but as others have pointed out, I think he has been a net negative on the show. In general, I think it's still a great show and Shaq has some good moments (I still die laughing when he tried the spicy chip) but I liked it more when it was just Ernie, Kenny and Barkley.

If they insist on having a 4th, my vote would be to add C-Webb or potentially Kobe. Maybe I'm just wanting Kobe to be in color commentary or analysis so much that I'm throwing him in here regardless of whether it would work with the other guys or not, but I think Kobe will be great in this type of a role. Wonder if he has interest in this type of thing. Kobe is a major historian of the game and I hope he does it one day.

Did you catch the awkwardness and tension the other day when Shaq disrespected Zeke and made him go to "Time-out"?


GP called him out on it twice and everytime Shaq tried to divert away from that to make a joke and get ppl laughing again. GP wasn't having it though, then you can see the look of disgust on everyone else's faces when the video of Shaq's antics plays, especially GP and Baron Davis

Shaq's like an overgrown child

Adding Shaq to the show was basically the equivalent of making the viewer feel as if he/she were getting an enema while watching, except and enema would be less uncomfortable.

This has been pretty obvious from day one, yet they continue to hope they can fit that square peg into the round hole. Time to end this failed experiment.

I just want to know how in the age of #metoo that Zeke continues to get a pass and keep his job with not one complaint.

Not a big fan of his commentary either. Ernie, Kenny and Barkley work so well because they left any bitterness or baggage from playing days at the door. Shaq can never let things go and gets defensive against almost every big man. Shows work best when you speak Frank and honest and without your personal beefs or insecurities.

Replace Shaq with C Webb...

I was a big supporter of Shaq being on TNT but now im just tired of it. The show was very much better with just Kenny, Charles and Ernie but sadly I doubt anything will ever change.
