I think Oladipo getting put in Third over DeRozan might have something to do with him also getting an All-Defense nod and from what I can tell is the front runner for Most Improved Player, whereas DD's team got 60 wins but this is probably his only award for the year.

Because Kyrie doesn't make much of an impact like Butler.

The Wolves would be nowhere without Butler.

The Celtics are on the verge of heading to the NBA finals.

And even ignoring that, Kyrie's season was basically even with Butler's in terms of advanced stats.

I think that says more about Boston and Minny as a team than it does either one of those guys.

Minnesota wouldn't make the playoffs without Butler.

The Bulls played to a 10 win pace without him last season.

He's not flashy, but he makes a huge impact on winning.

So yes I think it does say a lot about Butler.

That doesn't address my point though. Kyrie is still an impactful player even though Boston may make the FInals without him. Minnesota being a worse team without Butler and Boston still being good with Kyrie has nothing to do with Butler being more impactual or not than Kyrie. Boston just has a better team, coach and system.

Why does Boston being a better team than Minnesota mean that Kyrie isn't more deserving than Butler? If Butler were on the Celtics they'd still be winning.

Yet Irving was still top ten in win shares despite missing a chunk of the season and Boston still had a much better on/off with him on the floor, hmmm.... You're punishing Boston for having a good young team that's developing and the season where's on, I doubt Boston would only have one road win also in the playoffs.

What’s LOL about it? Better RPM, PER, WS/48, BPM, and most important of all 531 more minutes. Top center is between Towns and Jokic for me. Embiid’s 3rd team unless you wanna count AD as a center, then he shouldn’t be on there at all.

Anthony Davis should have been regarded as a F, making room for Embiid on first team as C, which would be opening up a C spot on the other teams for one of Gobert or Jokic, who deserved to be there more than LaMarcus Aldridge or Paul George.

Glad it worked out that way, however. We don't need to pay him the supermax now.
