Celtics need a blowout in game 7. They're not beating LeThanos in a close game.

Game 7, ECF , at TD Garden, possibly/probably no Kevin Love.
Can't complain with that scenario if you're the Celtics after the roster hiccups they've been dealt this season.
Now we just need the Rox to beat the Warriors, we take care of this game 7....

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

was hoping for a win in 6 because i think we can pencil in LeBron for 45/8/10. Also keep in mind that while the Cleveland role players have struggled in Bos they have the benefit of meaningful game 7 experience compared to Boston. Another thing is Boston not having 1 guy to rely on was a benefit through out the post season but in a game 7 that changes significantly.

Home and road have made a big difference obviously. But being a game 7 you have to factor in the experience. Brown, Tatum, Rozier have never played in a game of this magnitude. Curious to see how they respond. I think this will finally be the close game that goes down to the last few possessions. At least I hope so lol.

We've already had game 7 against the Bucks. Giannis averaged 30 against us, Middleton 25, both shot around 50 or more(giannis slightly under 50, Middleton 63.5)...

Anyhow:

My observations:

- I'm done with Smart and Morris. For all I know Smart can be the 3rd twin. I can't believe at how many bad plays both of them combined for. Smart threw the ball out of bounds on entry passes 2 or 3 times. They both shot 28 footers early in the shot clock. It was just hard to watch.

- Horfie just had a bad game. I can't blame him cause Al, Brown, Tatum and Rozier have carried us so far.

- Terry and Brown were really good, Tatum had a decent game. I have no idea why we didn't go to Brown more and Tatum, too...

- The Cavs played with more energy, I think we gave up way too many easy baskets. And we had too many unforced turnovers which led to them attacking early.

- Cavs gave us a chance to win and we didn't take it.

- We need to do a better job on Hill.

- I don't give either team a good chance in the Finals unless something changes dramatically. I just don't see how either of these teams can match up with GSW or HOU even without Paul. Both teams have way too much fire power and C's and Cavs have struggled a lot when it comes to scoring.
Good assessment:

I'm picking the Celtics in a close one. They might have just enough to pull it off.

I actually think we can win a close game at home, easily.

Both teams winning comfortably at home, but game 7 is where legends are born / solidified.

Not gonna take this for granted. Let's just hope for a good and intense game 7 folks.

C's have to go for the head and kill them right away

If not and its a close game , LeThanos will snap his finger and destroy this young team

If Boston makes it to the finals, are they the youngest team to do so?

if celtics jump out to a huge 1st quarter lead, they'll win, but if cavs manage to keep it within a close range, lebron will clutch it

Celtics have no chance. James and the Cavs will blow them out in game 7. Teams James' been on haven't lost a game 7 since 2008 against the Garnett/Pierce/Allen Celtics in their title season.

Will never understand how teams can't play just as well on the road as they do at home.

I guess Lebron wasn't fatigued in G6.
