Ehhh I don't think he's fully appreciated for what he does for the Cavs. If the Cavs didn't win he was more than likely going t have to shoulder a lot of the blame......
I'm so tired of the typical......

Guess more time for Cedi. During the season him as a starter worked good enough to give that a chance, even though Green might be the more reliable option.
For Celtics that may feel like last season's Cavs against them, when Isaiah went down, and the Celtics started playing less expectedly and more dangerously.

I know, him averaging 34/9/9 isn't really praise worthy so instead people feel the need to prop him up by talking about how terrible his teammates are. I mean he has Korver, who is a former all star, TT who is an almost max level big man, JR who we all know is an atg 3 pt shooter/defensive specialist and George Hill, who some people would claim is a top 25 starting pg in the whole league. People go to such crazy lengths to make excuses for LeBron and give him all the credit when his teams win. Its just ridiculous when he has teammates like that who are carrying him to yet another finals.
You will always find someone to say some of anything most true fans of the NBA know that Hill is not a top 25 PG. The Cavs from top to bottom don’t really have that much talent to be honest. We have been more talented as soon as last season but right now we just don’t have it...Now do we have potential to be better yes but I’m not of the mindset that we are that talented.

The cavs have lots of talent but the truth is lebron makes his team better but not his teammates a lot of these guys game is not spot up shooting they like to have the ball in their hands as well but since they can't they look worse than they actually are

A lot of folks do not want to hear this, but a teammate you cannot count on is the worst kind.
Actually a teammate who would ask him to risk serious injury by playing through a serious injury would be the worst. I can't believe people still don't realize how serious this. The movie Concussion should be mandatory viewing. I'd suggest reading some books/medical studies, but that's probably too much to expect.
This is really serious stuff and its not some guy flaking out on his team.
Please save me the tears and this enlightened new age concern speak.
We all know that players play through things they should not. Isiah Thomas playing on one leg, the baseball player that played with the bloody sock, Jordan's flu game, and even Lebron James who played through what appeared to be concussion like symptoms earlier this very series.
We revere individuals who lay it all on the line in big spots (something like a game 7) because it speaks to ones willingness to sacrifice for the betterment of the group.
Something that speaks to us at an instinctual level.
All of the players I mentioned above would have been justified in seeking proper medical attention first and foremost. They chose not to for two reasons: The desire to win (1), and to avoid the anguish of feeling that they let down their teammates/ team (2).
This is not about Love being unable to play. It is more then that.
The way he raised his hand for the tap out never to return gave the impression of an unwillingness to even give it a shot. Not fighting his way back to the bench just to cheer on his teammates (in an elimination game) speaks to a lack of team spirit. It may not seem like much but that speaks volumes to teammates who view that sort of thing as you being "all in" with the group.
Those types of little things have been known to boost morale.
-------
Teams at times have to save players from themselves (understandably), and though it may suck, as a teammate you respect it because you know that their heart is in the right place (and the decision was out of their hands).
The perception of a guy ready and willing to bail at the slightest hint of discomfort is not good for the team dynamic. Other players look at it as an inequity in investment (a breeding ground for resentment and distrust).
The locker room incident involving Love earlier in the season stemmed from this exact same line of thinking.
Ultimately the issue with Love goes beyond this injury. This is a pattern of unreliability that is simply part of the Kevin Love experience.
-------
Having said all of this...
I wish Kevin Love a full and speedy recovery.
Don't believe the hype...

It was a nasty collision. This isn’t him being soft or anything.
As for the game, this will just cause Lebron to be even more aggressive. I think they have a better chance of winning this game without him.

I think this sums up his impact pretty well. The worst player on the worst supporting cast this postseason.

I read he's been -20 on the floor. +18 when off it. Might not be a bad thing for the Cavs.
