Funniest NBA Player

Post#1 » by BimboColes » Mon Jun 25, 2018 6:35 pm

Although he gets a lot of hate, Shaq comes to mind. He changed the game in terms of being a Hollywood figure for NBA players and for the most part, at least throughout his career, I think he was pretty well liked. I actually think Lebron has gotten pretty hilarious in some recent interviews as well as he has become more self aware. The stories of OJ Mayo playing pranks and putting whoopie cushions in the locker room are so so childish but also pretty funny.

I dislike Shaq more and more as the years go on.

Best Rookie To Fall Off Hard Without Injuries

For me I'd say Landry Fields. Had a great rookie year and then was just completely out of the league after his next contract and didn't possess NBA level talent.

Landry fields was injured and his shot was entirely broken. It's ok if you don't know about that, weird you made a thread about it without knowing it though.

unfortunately you are wrong... Landry had serious injuries, otherwise he would have still been in the league...

Didn’t Landry Fields have nerve damage or something?

Dude completely lost the ability to play basketball.

Huh? Fields suffered a weird nerve injury in his elbow. He wasn't a great shooter to begin with but at least he looked human shooting a basketball. Post-injury, he basically had to learn to shoot again from square one, and it was so bad that he contemplated shooting with his off-hand.

Most don’t seem to recall because it happened in offseason, but MCW actually had to have major surgery to repair the labrum in his shoulder after his rookie season. Took him 7 months to return from that (most return in 2-4).

How about Charlie Villanueva? He was on the All-Rookie first team alongside Deron Williams, Andrew Bogut and Chris Paul(and Channing Frye but oh well). In fact the All-Rookie first team every year has a guy that you're shocked didn't make more of his career.

OJ Mayo, Ben Gordon, Brandon Jennings. A lot of scoring guards that can't sustain the output tend to wither away.
