Are LeBron, Kawhi, and Kemba enough to take out the Warriors?

Post#1 » by 316Hornets » Wed Jun 27, 2018 7:47 pm

PG13 stays in OKC and a new big 3 forms in LA through various trades.

Lebron arrives with two all-stars in Kawhi and Kemba. Lakers likely will have to trade away some assets to make this happen. But assuming, they still keep 2 or 3 good prospects with the addition of Lebron, Kawhi, and Kemba, are they able to knock out the Warriors? What would be the major weakness assuming they can get ring chasers like GSW gets?

Getting warmer. They'd need guards that defend and hit 3's.

There's no taking out the Warriors.

There is/was. It depends on if LeBron really wants to win.

Yes. But they dont even need Kemba. Give LeBron Kawhi (assuming hes still the same player) and its over.

I don't understand how the Lakers trade for BOTH Kawhi AND Kemba yet they keep 2 or 3 good prospects. What exactly are they trading for these guys if they're keeping everyone?

This is yet another Lakers pipedream.

Sure

But what part of what you mentioned is helpful against GSW?

I mean . . . is this stockholm syndrome from being a Charlotte fan, so you don't know how high level basketball operates? Did you not watch the WCF?

How is it a Lakers pipedream when the thread was started by a CHA fan?

Kawhi and Lebron already would be enough, it is the only team in which they have no chance to join together this season is the Lakers

If the two Lakers prospects are Kuzma and Ingram I could see them taking GSW to 6 in a 2nd round series. I like Kemba. I just wish in today's game that he was 4-5 inches taller. No matter who he plays for.

Put some good role players around Kawhi + LeBron and you would't need a third star to defeat the Warriors.

People don't realize how good Kawhi is. If he was a better playmaker and ball handler, he'd already be better than LeBron because of how good he is defensively.

Even right now my players rankings are:
1. LeBron
2a. Kd
2b. Kawhi
4. Curry
5. Harden
6. AD

Fully healthy Klay and Iguodala are great players in the playoffs only.

This new Lakers team can win 10 more games than Warriors in the regular.
