That's why I said it will probably be DeRozan + another player. I'm just dreaming out loud.

It would be weird to see Toronto with an actual dangerous star player. The Raps fan propaganda is already crazy on this board though, with a Kawhi trade it would go nuclear.

Trust me, you should want Siakam. The only two players I'd be sorry to lose in this trade are OG and Siakam.

What choice do we have, tbh... I sort of agree with you. But if all the other trade offers are absolute trash, I don't see many other options. Spurs don't want this dragging into camp. It's already going to be a distraction at Team USA minicamp next week.

Spurs like him but he won't be part of the trade. Raptors aren't trying to gut their roster. And knowing the Spurs and how they operate, the less players coming in, the more realistic it is.


My guess is it'll be DeRozan + OG or Siakam (they won't trade both) for Kawhi + Pau straight up. MAYBE a protected draft pick from Toronto too if we're lucky.

Kawhi or rebuild for Tironto but adding young controlled pieces like OG, Siakam and future pick will kill the team if Kawhi doesnt resign.

We shall see what pieces are offered. Toronto needs to keep their youth as much as possible and offer DD and other complimentary pieces only with 1 FRP.
