Who is Uncle Dennis? What's his deal?

He’s your version of Lavar Ball

He's the most prominent male family member in Kawhi's life since his father died. He's a mentor/life adviser type for Kawhi.

He's a douchebag. Be careful with him.

Dennis Robertson, Kawhi´s uncle, and basically the guy who fetched you Kawhi.

Lavar is a sideshow clown compared to Dennis. Uncle Dennis is one of those men that just want to see the world burn

I really dont know if I should like the man or hate the man.

On one hand, according to reports he's a huge reason as to how Kawhi became available and now a Raptor in the first place.

On the other hand, he might be the reason why Kawhi probably doesnt stay a Raptor for long

Kawhi's father was shot and killed when he was 16 at their family car wash. Kawhi never really talked about it with anyone, just really consumed the despair. Uncle Dennis is the father figure in Kawhis life, he could have chosen anyone to be his manager, choosing an inexperienced family member speaks volumes about the level of trust he has in the world.

Maybe Uncle Dennis might reconsider after we give him one too

He seems like guy who dominates what Kawhi does with his life like he would be 13 year old. It's been really sad to see.

Some might make the argument that Dennis is actually worse than Lavar. Some might argue that Lavar even with all his dumb antics is going to do everything in his power to support his sons and that is the major reason for his antics and some might argue Dennis is more about Dennis than Kawhi.

This is an excellent question. As a very casual Spurs fan, I've been wondering this same thing. It's only this year that I've even heard of Uncle Dennis. I have no idea who he is or what he's about. He's as much a mystery to me as this guy.
