This was expected. Jordan Brand was never going to continue with Kawhi after the extension was turned down. Kawhi will get a better shoe deal money and exposure wise in the next season or two. The problem is that after a season they'll realize that Kawhi doesn't have the personality to be a face and he'll just be an extra on a few shoe commercials.

4/22 seems like a garbage extension offer to someone who was top 5 when he went down.

They'll probably regret not offering more after this season.
