Leonard. Contract year, winning team where he’s clearly the standout, something to prove. Raps should win 60 and Leonard if healthy should be front runner for MVP.

Giannis vs AD. Kawhi is going to measured against the 59 wins they had last season. Don't see it unless they win 65+.

Durant was amazing last night, so was Curry (at least on offense).

Let's see what Harden and Lebron do tonight.

My favorites are still Davis, Giannis and Kawhi (in that order), because their teams have the potential to increase their win totals by a good margin or their greatness was a bit forgotten (Kawhi) which will make a MVP narrative much easier for the media.

Not a bad take but I don’t think Milwaukee or NO win enough games. It’s always about the campaign though and Giannis is very likeable. Embiid could have a real shot, LeBron if they get home court, maybe a Jazzman if they win 55+.

If Pelicans finish top 4, AD has it on lock

Pretty much, I don't think that anyone else can reach his projected statline this year. If the Pels win enough games, he has it.

There's so much talk in the media around AD and MVP this early in the season, combined with him top 3 in MVP voting last year (top 5?), it just feels like it's time

I would've agreed with you last week but we are starting 2-0 and look pretty damn good against two competent east playoff teams. I'm not saying we are in Celtics/raptors territory but I'm feeling 55 wins when you also factor in how bad the Knicks, nets, bulls and Hawks are this year.

#2 is a major reach but even if the Pels are 5th/6th seed, I still see AD getting the MVP.

It's between him and Kawhi.

How is it a major reach?

Who is clearly better than the Pels in the West besides the Warriors?

Rockets have regressed. OKC doesn't have their best player. We saw what happened with Portland. Lakers have no shooting.

It's only been 2 games. I still think Rockets/Jazz are better. Thunder as well, we have to wait till Westbrook to come back.

For me it's between Giannis, Davis, and Ingles.

We're going to win at least 55.

I'm not sure theyll get the #2 seed but AD definitely will be a strong contender as long as they get a top 4 seed. Also giannis.
