Love the #5 pick. Davis is going to blow up this year for Brooklyn. Portland done messed up letting him go!

What are you talking about Ed Davis is nowhere close

This is clearly referring to Baron Davis who is prime to make an NBA comeback after learning from the greats as a TNT analyst.

I was actually referring to Deyonta Davis the dude we just picked up.

Giannis makes the most sense if the Bucks can make a jump.

I don't see Harden having a chance. Warriors don't try hard enough. Could see LeBron but he takes games off in the RS.

Davis makes sense if the Pelicans can be a 2 or 3 seed somehow.

To me its between AD and Giannis. Kyrie has an outside shot too.

I agree, it mainly depends on the team that will reach as close to the finals. If the Celtics will reach further than the Bucks and the Pelicans, Kyrie can get the MVP.

Rooting for Giannis and Oladipo

I feel like Lebron has a great shot at winning it too.

1) Giannis - On the rise into his peak form. The Bucks are also a better team this year.

2) Lebron - The last hurrah for MVP caliber Lebron before his decline. He will still put up great numbers this year.

3) AD - The only downside is that his team sucks

AD's team is just as good if not better than the two you have above him.

MVP tiers
Tier 1/We'll give it to you if you have a good record
AD, Giannis

Tier 2/We'll give it to you if you have a healthy season and post solid stats
Kawhi, Kyrie

Tier 3/We'll give it to you if you have a legendary/improbable season
LeBron, KD, Curry, Westbrook, Harden

Tier 4/We'll give it to you if everybody else sucks or are un-entertaining
Oladipo, Embiid, Jokic
East #1 Draft Picks: Fultz, Banchero, Wiggins, Cuninigham
West #1 Draft Picks: Edwards, WIlliamson, Ayton, Towns

AD has had the best PR from fans his entire career, this is nothing new.

I predict that Kawhi will win MVP and DPOY this season.

One thing that a huge majority of MVP winners have in common is being a top 2-3 seed in their conference.

With that in mind I’m putting Curry, Durant, Harden, Leonard, Giannis and Embiid at better odds than both Bron and AD.

As has been happening the past few seasons, I don’t see Bron putting nearly as much effort into the regular season as he does in the playoffs. Plus this season he should see both a games and minutes decrease over 2017-18 which will hurt his counting stats.
