I have premium and can't seem to find out how to access old games.....haven't looked too terribly hard either, so maybe i'll check it out. I have premium because I can't stand commercials...especially watching on my laptop, it wasnt just commercials from the station carrying the game but it was LP's own ads and they seemed to always delay the stream...so afterwards I would have to fast forward constantly. Plus I enjoy seeing how different the timeout entertainment is from arena to arena.

I mostly watch reruns, cause Europe, and want to watch them when I have time without waiting and don't really want to invest time into dl-ING. But yeah, live is easier through reddit.

LP is $200 annually & LP Premium is $250 annually.

You also get In-arena stream during game breaks - no commercials with LP Premium.

I went standard last year & am going standard again this year.

When you're in Canada and even with League Pass cant get the games.......

Do they want us to just use Reddit? I don't mind

I understand why they exist but blackouts really ruin it for me. I would be more than willing to pay this price if i could watch the Raptors but in Canada, even tho i don't live anywhere near Toronto, they are considered local games for me.

Reddit. I can see the value in replays, but even that is out there with some searching. Given the league keeps adding more marketing to the in game (patches on jersey's for example), the feeling of it being "wrong" or "stealing" is all but gone.

^It's so true

Cable subscriptions are literally people paying to be advertised to now.

Premium doesn't seem worth it. If they had games from 80's, 90's, 00's then I would get it. Doesn't have to be every game just 5 classic games from each reg season and some playoffs would be sufficient.

There are also commercials no matter where you stream and you have to pay a monthly fee just like cable for pretty much any legal live streaming service.

Cable companies are aware of this which is why standalone internet prices have been jacked to the moon in the past 2 years. For 100mbps internet where Im at in Ohio is like $79 per month and thats a small market price. You add cable and its an extra $30-$50 on top of that. Mostly all streaming monthly subscriptions that allow you to watch live sports are a bare minimum $30 and you still have commercials just like cable.

Paying for just internet + legal sub service for live sports comes out to be just as expensive as paying for a internet + cable package and both have commercials. I would rather have cable since its more reliable than strictly relying on your internet connection for quality HD and everything you do.

in canada i think we only have one option which is about $130, it has every game that isn't televised and you can replay any game from the last few years. i had it last year because i mainly watched pistons games (and they are very rarely televised in canada) but it was useless if i wanted to watch the raps. all the raps games are televised nationally so anyone with league pass in canada can't watch the raptors (go figure how that makes sense to buy). it was nice being able to watch games back afterwards but even then there are channels on youtube that post full games the next day. they get taken down after a few days but that should be enough time to catch what you missed.

i got a little frustrated with the streaming quality/consistency as the season wore on and ended up just watching reddit streams by the end despite having paid for league pass. this year i'm redditing all my games.

Does the NBA even care about streaming anymore? Reddit has existed for 2 seasons now and it's always the same sites streaming too, hasn't been shut down yet

I'd pay good cash for a service with no commercials. Just watch the game an hour after it finished.

But I may just stream. I mean if the options suck this much....

They care but they can’t do anything since the servers hosting the games are in a country the nba has no agreement with or that country doesn’t care what the US has to say.

LP is woeful in Australia, not too bad if you watch live but terrible if you want to catch the game later, it's very hit and miss if you'll get a steady stream or not.

I'm still paying it, but if it continues like that it's the last time.
