Harrell blocking a ton of shots...Did he gain a foot of standing reach in the offseason?

The guy already has a 7'4 wingspan. His measurements are similar to Elton Brand who blocked shots. I think he's just contesting them more this year. Even last year he wasnt as bad of a defender as people think. Clippers had better rim defense with him on the court than DJ and overall allowed less points.

GS yes but IMO the Rockets look a notch worse this season. It might be just getting used to the new players they have but I think there's some legitimate drop off there.

He was a negative rebounder at Houston and barely got any blocks, seems like he has taken another step this season both as a rebounder and rim protector. With that mobility he is a very valuable player.

I think Bzdelik leaving has had more impact then Moute and Ariza leaving, the defense just isn't there.

Then again even the Kings and Hawks are hanging 130+ on teams so this maybe a league wide trend....

Yea, I more meant the length wasn't what was limiting, so much as the effort IMO.

I was legit pissed at this. The ball should've been in Tobais, Gallo, or even Shai's hands in the final minute and a half of the game. Out of Pat Bev, Avery Bradley, or Lou.. I see one or two of these guys being shipped out.

There's a reason why the Raptors let this guy go in 2015 despite him after winning sixth man of the year back then. Horrendous defender and iso chucker who isn't good playing 5 on 5. Completely disappeared while Paul Pierce and the Wizards pulled the broom on the Raptors. And did I mention his constant end-of-quarter iso possessions that he would never hit? But hey, he puts up a lot of PPG off the bench and wins sixth man of the year awards and Drake made a song based on him - better give him the ball and let him throw up as many bricks as he wants!

The Warriors outside of Curry went 1 for 13 from 3. Not ideal.

It has been over a decade since the Pistons have even won a playoff game. Relax bud.

GS had 19 TOs and was only 7-29 from 3...only lost by 2 pts.....GS will smoke them next time they play

19 Tos is not so anormal for GSW...
Last season:
- 11 of 82 games has more or equals 19 TOs
- 3 games when has 3P% <= 25%

instead Denver:
- has 0 games when Murray-Millsap combined shot 1 of 16 (6%) from field
- has 0 games when missed 18 FT

Sure maybe GSW will smoke Denver next time but change reasons

I think it's a combination of Denver being a really good team this year and that GSW going 7-29 from 3 won't likely happen all that often. Regardless it was a well deserved win.

If Denver had pulled with his usual FT percentage would have had about 8-9 more points and the same GSW if had shoot with his usual 3P%... so will be a in-line game (despite a miserable percentage of Murray-Millsap)

"Maybe your best course would be to tread lightly" (cit.) a healthy Denver Nuggets team. 8-)

Good call. No doubt, some people will be trashing okc for losing to the kings, but the kings looked really good against Utah as well. I think they're going to be better than a lot of people expect.

This is why people shouldn't bother trying to take anything away from preseason play.

This was easy prediction from me, even tho I didn't know that RW will play haha

I didn't see any of the preseason games for the Kings so I don't know how they looked there with my own eyes, but has seen almost every game this regular season (except for this one vs OKC which I'm gonna watch now, because of the time zone), Kings are looking real good, like forreal.

But I have to say, I believe in Joerger now after three years he is finally coaching the team the way he was talking in the training camp, we are playing fast (#2 in pace right now, in first two Joerger years we were dead last or bottom 3), no more high post actions, but a lot of pnr, ball movement etc

He is playing young guys and Bagley is looking pretty good, I feel good, just need Bogi back and see were we can go this season (I'm eating crow about Bagley right now, as I speak)
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.
