when will it finally become a consensus that Fultz is a bonafide bust?

I still see occasional cope that he will be alright, or could turn out good. I thought it was a foregone conclusion last year, yet I still people clinging on to him THIS year when nothing has changed whatsoever.

His shot is just as busted as ever despite dedicating an entire summer to it exclusively and skipping out on 5 on 5 work in favor for it(lol). He has a low basketball IQ, he is timid/over sensitive. He is extremely weak mentally. last year he was worse than TJ McConnel an undrafted 5'11 point guard. This year the gap between him and McConnel is just as big with exactly zero improvement on his end. there was a reason the Sixers were desperately trying to make him the centerpiece of trade packages this offseason and noone wanted anything to do with it.

to be successful in the league you either need to be near 7 feet tall, a good shooter, or have out of this world athleticism. Fultz is only an OK athlete, and obviously he can't shoot and is a 6'3 guard on a team that already has a primary ball handling point guard that can't shoot. The Fultz for Tatum + additional picks exchange will go down as one of the most lul-worthy draft day trades when people look back upon it.

Will it be agreed upon this year or will we still see people holding on to hope for years to come?

Should know by the end of this season how his trajectory will go.... not looking great but he def has the tools to get there.

Seriously. Some of these franchises need to have a blanket policy of no trades with the Celtics.

As to OP's question, it should be fair to give Fultz a full season in uniform before reassessing....seem reasonable?

Fultz is not a totally lost cause and he struck me when drafted as just really young and immature. He can still become a really good player.
