Mathematically, 14/15 WC teams could conceivably finish with a .500 season

Post#1 » by Dr Aki » Mon Dec 10, 2018 2:39 am

I know it's obvious that WC teams play each other more, but damn is it brutal. West teams can make up the difference with wins against the East

Anyone know what the current interconference record is?

http://www.nba.com/powerrankings

From this as of last Monday the west was 75-52 against the east. Not sure what the last week has been.

I forgot to mention that if Phoenix stays everyone's punching bag, it would work out as well

Mathematically 30 teams could finish with a .500 season.

Yeh, but what are the odds of that happening?

Also .500, either happens or it does not.

And thus the art of 'statistical analysis' was born.

True, if I fight Brock Lesnar I have a 50/50 shot of winning also.

Look at the Western Conference standings, than you'll understand.

11 of the 15 teams are at .500 or higher, 2 are only 1 game under .500, and the other 3 games under .500. Then the Suns lol.

So, it's conceivably, but not likely.

Naw, we'd need to test that theory first. Fight him 100 times, then we'll have a better idea of the statistics.

Never seen it before when literally every team in a Conference is at least average/pretty good except for one. It’s crazy.

It’s also incredible to see just how much talent there is in the league right now.

Shout out to the Eastern conference for keeping all these teams afloat in the Western race. Exciting times ahead!
