“That one right there made me the greatest player of all-time,” he said. “That’s what I felt. I was super, super ecstatic to win won for Cleveland because of the 52-year drought. The first wave of emotion, when everyone saw me crying, that was 52 years of sports and everything that’s gone on in Cleveland. And then after I stopped, I was like, that one right there made you the greatest player of all time.”

Have to be real here, but he has a point you know.

I did not see MJ play, so I can't really be the judge to decide which is the GOAT, but Lebron has a good point.

As someone who watched MJ play from the early 90's through to watching Lebron play today there is no way I could have Lebron above MJ as the GOAT.

Both are unreal players but the thing that gets MJ across the line is the 6/6 Finals and his ultimate competitive drive to win.

Lebron can say it all he wants but for me MJ will always be the GOAT.

That probably made him GOAT in Cleveland. Some one have to be the best player in a team that wins teams first championship and that doesn't make those players GOATs. If it would there would be several GOATs in NBA alone. On general level on basketball or any sport that is a bad reasoning, but on personal level or team level that can be used as a reason, but even on that level it is quite bad reason.

Lol that’s good for him. Us humans should always find ways to keep ourselves at the top in our mind. I don’t blame.

MJ is too unreachable imo. Just overall GOAT. Lebron just can’t reach the status MJ has.

No he doesn't. Winning one specific title (no matter how much the city appreciates it) does not make you the GOAT.
