Imagine being elected to a position by all your peers to negotiate in their best interests, and then pulling shady stuff w/ the other side to get yourself personal gain while they lose out on money. I thought the worst thing about it was Fisher trying to find away to make money off of people going broke:

The firm’s website boasts quick liquidity for high-value possessions and assets, which makes them sound quite a bit like a mega-scale pawn shop.

“Often times,” the site reads, “traditional forms of financing are too slow, burdensome and invasive, or have negative tax or other consequences that make them less than ideal or unviable choices, particularly when time is a factor”; “Doing business with us is straightforward and discreet, requiring little paperwork, typically no credit checks, virtually no personal or business information and no waiting period.” A probably obvious piece of personal financial advice: never give money, or anything, to a company that uses this kind of language.

I don't get what he did wrong regarding the revenue split. The owners actually took a hard line stance that it was worrh losing games to get a larger share of the revenue pie and given how many teams were struggling financially the players were fortunate to keep 50% of revenue. Given the new TV deal they still actually gained money -- and those funds may not have been there had the lockout kept going and NBA fans lost interest.

Can’t even describe how awful the writing is, below is some of the worst/most biased parts, trying to connect dots without much to back it up.

When Fisher got a prestigious five-year, $25 million head coaching contract with the New York Knicks, a job for which his qualifications were questionable, a mere ten days after playing his final professional game in 2014, it did not exactly reverse the feeling that he had leveraged his high position in the union against players for future personal gain.

It can also easily be argued that the inflation in head coaching salaries that Fisher benefited from in 2014 was directly related to the collective bargaining agreement he helped owners reach in 2011
