Will NO regret not taking the Lakers offer?

Who will offer the most for AD?
Do you guys think Lakers will cover AD the most this offseason when they have the cap flexibility to add a max FA without trading an asset?
Do you guys think Danny Ainge will overpay for AD’s services without a guaranteed contract extension and Sr came out and said he doesn’t want Boston after the IT debacle?
Do you think a surprise team will scoop in there to overpay for AD like NY or LAC?

I don't think the Lakers young players and picks are very appealing. I also think Boston will offer Tatum if Kyrie stays.

There’s no incentive for Ainge to overpay for AD. It’s far more likely he’ll underpay. I don’t see the Celtics giving up Tatum in a bidding war against other teams, such as the Clippers or Knicks.

In 3 to 5 years, they will regret it deeply. The next 1-2 years, they look like they are doing the right thing.

Nope. Waiting for the summer was always NOLA's best option.

Lakers offered bunch of mediocre young talents with role player potential at best and few crappy first round picks. It definitely wasn't a great package imo.

We'll see how history judge this situation, things change so quickly. We have a saying in Spain: It's better one bird in hand than 100 flying up there in the sky.

If Ainge doesn't overpay for AD then he's not getting AD.

I still think they'll get a deal done today. Lakers will offer 4 first round picks if they need to.

I wouldn't hedge my bets on Ainge playing fair in the off season. Has nobody learned from history? Ainge rarely loses on deals. If there is a deal they like in place today then I'd pull the trigger.

I'm a Laker fan and that offer was a lot but that doesn't mean it was good. Lonzo has a rare skillset but is he good? Not really. He's also been injury prone thus far. I'm definitely a lot lower on Ingram now as this is a shooters league and he doesn't really shoot 3's. Kuzma is okay but a lot of folks are low on him because of his age/potential and defensive issues.
Not really a great offer imo

Assuming the offer was Ingram/Ball/Kuzma/2 firsts and expirings, the Hornets should have no problem matching or topping that deal in the summer. I don’t blame them one bit for asking for significantly more.

Honestly no. The Lakers young core are more quantity than quality compared to other young cores.

Knicks, Clippers, 76ers, and Celtics can all trounce the Lakers' offer.

Because Rich Paul and Lebron messed around with the future of the New Orleans franchise, and Demps listening to Pop by not negotiating with them, I hope NO will not get as much in return. If Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram, Hart, Zubac plus multiple first rounders are not enough...something is wrong. The Pelicans are basically saying- F you to the Lakers and we wont trade him to you because of what you did. I personally think in terms of just the trade and the players +picks, involved that it is more than enough. If these guys were on a different team and that was the package offered, they would have accepted it in a heartbeat.

Apart from Memphis pick, other Boston picks are devalued hard, Sacramento is pushing its pick to bottom of lottery/out of it, Clippers will contend next season.
Jerry West’s 4D trade of Harris is deteoriating Boston position.
At this point its Tatum+ or no go.

I don't think they will. The Lakers overvalue their young prospects in my opinion.
I package of one potential stud is simply more appealing than a collection of potentially good players (who will be paid extensions in less than 2 years). I even think Jaylen Brown and a high draft pick is more appealing than a whole bunch of young decent players.

That King’s pick you are so quick to bash is probably better than every Lakers pick being offered.

No.
A larger pile of steaming crap is not more valuable than a smaller pile of steaming crap.
Plus, vindictiveness toward the Lakers is a thumb on the scale in weighing any other offers.
