Just noticed that AD played a whopping 5 minutes? Dude should have let someone else take his place as soon as he got “injured”. He probably just wanted to go to the game to do his interviews and stir up buzz about his freakin’ list and get more attention.

Selfish jerk. Gobert should have got to play in his place.

Gotta love being in AD's position. Can't get traded to the Lakers? Help the franchise out by mailing it in for the season, kicking back, cashing those checks while the team wants to lose.

NBAFan93 wrote:Rewatching this 4th quarter - w/ 8 minutes left there was a point where team Giannas was up by as much as 6. (Westbrook had left the game for good shortly before that). All the team Giannas starters go back in w/ about 7 minutes left and it turns into a 3 point chuck fest on both sides where team LeBron makes almost all their shots and team Giannas misses almost all theirs. Curry took and missed a lot, and PG took and missed some - and KD and Lillard were hot and made a lot of theirs.

Westbrook may have missed some shots when he was on (he also scored 6 points on a row at one point too when the game was close), but they had a 6 point lead after he was out of the game for good and the starters ended up losing it by 16. He was not the reason they lost.
They were up +/- 14 points, team giannis has a momentun on their side. Then the second unit came in and some plays by Westbrook were disastrous - team Lebron were mocking him from bench. They lost the game in that span, team Lebron regain confidance while curry and giannis were not having it.
Klay, Lillard, Beal, Kawhi( for a while with 2unit) outscored, outplayed Lowry, Blake, RW and then Kd, Harden, Lebron just tuned in.

I would blame Giannis bench and then Curry.

I'm trying to picture Rudy swatting and intimidating half the shots that come his way. It would pretty much ruin the mood.

The All_Star game was such a snoozefest. Both teams just chucking 3s all game.

Turned it in for maybe 2 minutes of the game and flipped back over to the AAF football game.

75 years, really? I'm doubting you were even old enough to appreciate the Allen Iverson comeback ASG.

Yes, old wise one.

I meant 75 years literally.

I don't know if it's just me but all star games are just boring as heck now. The new NBA with these smaller men shooting the ball can't put up a show like 10 years ago when we had big men dunking all over the place.
Shooting 3's ain't fun. Just stop making an all-star game at this point

I’m glad someone else notices this. Throughout her whole career, she almost OVERenunciates words. It’s like she’s trying so hard to be perfect and isn’t natural WHATSOEVER. Drives me nuts. Literally, I can’t even watch her anymore.

I was so excited to watch the game today (couldn't stay up due to time diff) because it was in my hometown area...but man it was just a garbage exhibition. The ASG was never the epitome of competition but it's become a total joke now, and the announcers make it 10x worse with their forced hype man nonsense. The league is in a bad place right now, was all I could think of when watching.

Definitely will not watch next year, would not have watched this year either if not for Charlotte. Should've known better, but I was hoping for a hometown miracle I guess. Dirk's little run was the best part by far just for the crowd reaction but the rest was boring.

178-164

Just list the all-stars next year and then don't even play the game if this is how it's going to be.

That post-draft trade really payed off for team Lebron lol.
Simmons was really fun to watch. Him and Klay had some great chemistry in that 3rd quarter.
The traditional centers (jokic, vucevic, aldridge) were incredibly boring to watch.

He also called the MVP All-Star, saying there can only be one All-Star

Wow that actually gives me a great idea to spice up next years ASG. Game ends, they come out to present the MVP, then Silver says "there can only be one all star" and the doors lock and a Hunger Games-style fight to the death survival scenario starts. I would watch that for sure.

Breaks out into a game of 21 hustle. Top two on each team (twelve player game whittled down), then the four of them square off. Only one throw to keep it from being a game at the line.

He has an amused look on his face at the end of the clip.
Also, something that might surprise people. I think when it comes to athleticism, agility, physical attributes and skill I rate LeBron only in the top 50.

Yeah because his mistkes are predictable before they happen to everyone except Westbrook. If something happens unexpectedly, great. But when a dude shoots 25% from 3 and proceeds to ISO and take tons of them... it's not a good look.

Who cares man? It's the all star game. Everyone is trying to get theirs. The arena is full with fans and celebrities, with millions more watching at home. All the players are trying to shine. It's not a big deal imo.
