During an All Star Weekend interview, James confirmed that Space Jam 2, the sequel to Michael Jordan's crossover 1996 film, will begin filming this coming summer. As previously reported, James will be playing the leading role in addition to being one of the film's executive producers.

james anticipated he wouldn't get this far in the playoffs.

i'll say this though, if they use animated cartoons they'll be wayyy out of date

I didn't think the 1st one was that good, and I loved Looney Tunes as a kid. I dont think its possible for LeBron to be a worse actor than MJ though. I guess it depends on the writers.

I honestly just dont get the point of this. Are the Looney Toons even relevant anymore? Im sure they couldve come up with a different idea for a kids movie with LeBron.

They just desperate to make LeBron goat. So he is destined to follow MJ footsteps and fail btw Nothing more. And ofcourse I wont watch it. Didnt watch single Lebron game since Bulls played Cavs in playoffs. Aint planning start watching one even more scripted one.

Nah, I was 5 when the first one came out and I think I was only interested because I watched a lot of Tiny Toon adventures.

No big Loony Tunes show out.
LeBron at age 34 almost 35 by the time of post-production.

There's little reason to see this as an adult.

There's little reason for an adult to see the first one too.

But I agree, Lonny Tunes are so 90s. But idk what they'd do today? Fortnite? Like there is very little kids entertainment that people even in their 20s find legitimate.

Yeah I kind of feel this. Bring in any of the animation/production companies that have cartoons more in the collective consciousness of kids. This is gonna be stuck halfway between a nostalgia flick for stoner adults and a wtf for kids.

They aren't relevant anymore

I dont get the purpose of a movie with looney tunes today. Many people watching will probably be guys who watched OG spacejam as a kid and view MJ>Lebron and will just bag on Lebron.

But I also don't know what show would have worked. Maybe Spongebob?

Why does this matter? MJ was 33 when Space Jam was released.
