The Suns

Post#1 » by LivingLegend » Fri Feb 22, 2019 5:53 am

Why are they bad. Booker, Ayton, Jackson, Bridges, Warren, Oubre, Holmes, Johnson ect, ect.

How in the hell is this team going to pick up their 534th lotto pick in a row this year? Whats wrong. How are they THIS bad.

Is this team the definition of why tanking should not be allowed?

No point guard, best defender is a rookie wing, two top offensive players lack any defensive ability.
And Sarver.

They have done nothing but stock high round lotto picks for 5 years. They are one, if not the worst, team in basketball.

There is more to it than that. Especially when 1/2 of this board picked them to be a factor in the playoffs prior to this season.

in the art of war there's a passage about in the middle of assembling your army, sign 3 point guards and spend the next three years pooping loudly into a microphone

Nobody thought they'd be close to the playoffs. And they've drafted poorly too. But nobody thought that, they were projected as awful.

I feel like they've lacked a strong personality that can give them an identity as a team for a long time. Teams need a personality or identity to define themselves by if they are going to win. I think it does start with Sarver at the top which filters down from there. I think its almost at the point where he should be forced out as an owner. He's like a current day Ted Stepien who ran the Cavs into oblivion in the early 80's to where he had a rule named after him about trading picks away for cash and I think got forced out of ownership.

Bridges and Jackson wont work long term imo also if your going to give Booker the ultimate green light why even bother with a pg?

IDK where you get that from. They have the #1 overall pick in the draft who everybody loved. I never hear anything about him. They got Bridges which was considered the best 3+D player in the draft who everybody was high on---Hes a non factor.

None of those players are doing ish. None. Bridges is a non-factor. They have Jackson who they refused to include in a Kyrie Irving trade in the past who isnt doing a single thing.

Its a complete embarrassment

That was exactly what I was gonna do to that quote.
BAF Clippers: Great Team. No Future.
PG: SGA | Coleworld
SG: Big Ragu | Podz
SF: Kuminga | Thybulle
PF: KAT | K. Williams
C: BroLo | D. Sharpe

Deep Bench - Merrill | Craig | Reath | Saric | Lowry

Bridges is good. Ayton was a mistake over Doncic.

But nobody thought they'd be close to the playoffs. If you could show us where.

Im not going to waste my time, but go back to the preseason thread power rankings that multiple posters created. Many many many people has the Suns in the middle of the West playoffs

Bad coaching, no defense and NO point guard.

Give them a good coach, a good, unselfish point guard mixed with some vets and you have a solid team.

Phoenix FO is so trash.

Not Yo Ham Lakers!

No, nobody did. You can do your own work and prove it, because nobody else here saw this. They were predicted with the Kings to be bottom 2.

Bridges is bad. Ayton is underachiving for the #1 overall ladeda pick in the draft.

They have MULTIPLE lotto picks, one (Jackson) who they refused to trade for Kyrie Irving who is getting destroyed by likes of Cedi Osman on a nightly basis. They screwed up, its why they screwed up thats the question
