Going to play 48 minutes, how many points could u score? I think i am good for a 12 and 5rbs game for the mavs.

I could score 8 to 12 points but I would give up 70 points to the guy I am guarding....so I'd be known as a "Poor Man's Melo"

Absolutely no way I could score in a game, unless I cherry pick the whole time, which is probably more useful than me trying to play defense.

Would average a triple double since casual fans say it's so easy in today's NBA

2-3 - but only because the guys on the other team would feel so bad for me they'd leave me wide open (they'd be up 30+ at that point given how badly I would get abused on defense so its not like they'd care...)

0 points and I would make Fultz look like an MVP

Pretty much this for everyone here. I was also going to add catch and shoots, with the assumption that the defense wouldn't bother to guard me, but I imagine they'd actually actually want to trap and force the ball into my hands, in which case it would be pretty easy to force a turnover.

If no one else shot on my team I legitimately think I could score 21 points on like 90 half court shots

Some of the people posting in this forum wouldn't be nearly as good as they think out there. You need to appreciate how big, how fast the NBA game is and you would have absolutely no time and space to get off any of the shots you normally do playing at your current level. Many college stars struggle to score in summer league/g league let alone this league.

Unless you were a very good D1 basketball player or something along those lines, and you're still in top shape and at the top of your game, thinking you could actually drop double digits is foolish.

Yeah, no.

People underestimate the difference in ability by miles.

Heck, after 10 minutes chasing these guys around and trying to get even semi open we would be dead on our feet.

Im a decent player but I know for a fact I'm not getting anything against NBA guys.

I would probably sit myself after 10 minutes going 0 for 5 and turning the ball over three times.

Easily 20+ points. I would know I couldn't keep up with world class NBA athletes so I'd just cherry pick the entire game. Yeah we would lose by 40 points but it's not like I'm capable of guarding anyone so I might as well get some fantasy points for the fantasy owners who had fantasy faith in me.

I have a perfect combination of Iasiah Thomas' height and Zhou Qi's body build, so hmmmmm.

My best bet is to have my teammates get into opponent's head and try to instigate something, then let me shoot the tech FTs.

Haha good way to start my day with a good laugh at some of these answers. Irrational confidence is high here.

If I could move around the deep 3 area and put up 12 shots I could probably could get 12 points and a couple of assists, my opposing player would get 50.

If I was defended out at the deep 3 area then I could get 0.

I dont think I could get a shot off, let alone make it.

Well im 6'4 and played ball so yeah i could get 12 points, it wouldn't be efficient i might be 6 for 18 but i could score. People say its hard to score in the nba but if u have good size and skill u can score with minutes, most nba player could get 25 a night with the minutes and an ultimatum green light

48 minutes of running with NBA athletes? My team would be playing 4 on 5 on defense for 90-95% of the game. I've played in tournaments that had some ex-NCAA talent, but I do best in 15-20 minute off the bench roles, the times we were short and I had to play the entire 40 minute game was absolute hell, and that wasn't against NBA caliber athletes. It would probably make more sense for me to never cross the half-court line and play no defense at all and just cherry pick.

I'd score 6 on 2-10 shooting from 3 with 7 turnovers.
