I'm kinda worried about Ja staeying healthy as well. Kid lands hard. Good news is he has a real great feel for the game that an injury shouldn't deter him too much, but its gotta be a legit concern.

That's not thatttt crazy of a take, though. Porzingis has only played 186 games in four seasons, and who knows if he'll be as good as he was when he returns. KAT is better than Russell right now, but Russell made a huge leap this year.

See how hard is to build around Davis a playoff team, even though he is a supreme talent on both ends of the floor.

I want the playmake duties with my superstar, even if in a vacuum he is not as good as a player.

Ja Morant is Westbrook 2.0 you can't teach non stop motor and intensity and this kid has the "it" factor.

Zion is a torn ACL away from arguably eating his way out of the league. That may be a bit premature, but if you're targeting box office/quick burst in relevancy, then Zion is your guy. If you're talking straight up basketball, Morant is probably going to be the better player long term. Zion's 285 on a 6'8 frame, that may have been fine in the 80s and 90s, but in today's NBA, how will he handle it?

I REALLY REALLY want us to draft Morant now. I've been critisized for saying this over the past few months including by people on this board - Morant is what the Suns need. They need a 2nd pressure release valve for Booker - someone who can take the ball handling and scoring load off him to allow him to be more like Klay.

Morant reminds me of Derrick Rose but with an ability to shoot. If he chooses to defend, he's got the size and athleticism. He's going to be one hell of a player.

Yeah, it's less something to try to disprove (since everyone has their own opinion anyway) than something to consider, what does West see in Ja vs. Zion. I mean we don't even know for sure what he'd recommend if the Clippers somehow had the #1 pick in the draft.

At 6’7” and 285 as a 19 year old on the hard court that moves like **** Vince Carter did. I don’t trust his body to hold up. His shoe blew out. What is going to happen playing 80+ games a year?

I feel Ja Morant game fits the NBA perfectly and it will translate well. I think he is going to be a future star in the league.

I like ja, but a slight correction.... About maybe 60 or 70 players in the nba zion played, more or less, at the aau level, and each year you can add at least 15 more, and in 2yrs all kinds of high schoolers will arrive.

It is almost impossible for a good player to fail in the nba because of excessive youth and a lowering of the bar
