I voted Simmons but Lowry is not far behind

I think KAT is more underrated than overrated.

I'll say Ben Simmons. Good, young player but not a franchise player building block imo like some still think he is.

Lebron James for me.
Many think he is still a superstar and the best player of the NBA, he isn't either for me.


His defense is bad, his free-throw shooting lowers his offensive ceiling (still pretty elite on that end) and his playstyle is not a great fit for other (super)star players.
His aura/leadership seems to be detrimental also.


Off the court he is still a superstar though.

Big Lebron fan, but he's the most overrated. Still shocking that the Lakers only improved by 2 games adding him.

Lebron haters are piling on. They’ve been waiting for this moments for 15 years.

Lowry seems to be getting votes primarily because of the way he played yesterday which is unfortunate. Every season his +/- is great and he does so many different things that help his team win. Derozan was the grossly overrated Raptor the past several years.

I’m surprised I’m the first person to vote for RWB. His +/- and TS% were awful despite all those triple doubles.

His game and approach in the playoffs more often than not over the years, doesn't consistently translate, and ultimately his numbers and abilities are decreased pretty noticably. I think that'll happen again in similar fashion this post-season.

DeRozan played well for the Spurs on a consistent basis, watched them all year, and the Spurs would probably be out of the playoffs without him. His FG% and assists I believe are career-highs. He hit numerous big shots over course of the season. He has played at a high-level in Pop's system.

He didn't carry them, though, lots of guys stepped up on different occasions, and had their runs of games. DeRozan also almost got a triple double every night.

Weaker? Part of that ‘weaker’ cast was allstar Lamarcus Aldridge. the Lakers were 9-18 in the games Lebron missed. What a juggernaut group of studs he played with.

The Spurs were also better with Derozan on the bench than on the floor. True story.

For a ‘huge Lebron fan’ you certainly go to great lengths to make terrible arguments.

Yeah this is Simmons, he has been billed as the next big thing and a future superstar, and the reality is, he is a fraud and built for RS, in playoffs he is a liability.

GTFO of here with this “better supporting cast” ****. Spurs would have won 50 games without Demar. This Lakers team (not the one with Randle, Lopez, and a healthy Ball from last year) wouldn’t have even won 30 without LeBron.

Lakers weren't good with or without Lebron. Largely because he refused to be coached. Lakers were expected to be a 4/5 seed, and SA was expected to miss the playoffs. Lebron failed to live up to predictions in historic fashion, while DD exceeded what people had hoped. So Lebron is clearly the most overrated POY. No one really close. I don't get why Simmons gets so much hate when Embiid is the most overrated on that team.

Lebron could have played 82 games and the Lakers still wouldn't have made the playoffs. And LA won 35 games last season, so yeah...we know they could win 35-37 without Lebron.

Lowry was an allstar iver Siakam. That was a travesty
